+1 MA on orc thrower?

Should I take it or go accurate?

He's got +1ag and block already...

Normally I'd go accurate or safe throw but the +1 ma is very tempting....combined with the ag bonus = a lot more mobile.

Thoughts?

I guess it depends on how you plan to play the team. If you would rather cage then the move is invaluable but accurate with your ag would make any opposing coach consider the long pass. Opens up your options quite a bit when the other team has to cover anyone downfield.

Tough decision for sure.

Take it for sure. Gives you much more coverage when trying to pick up the ball from the kickoff.

And with mv 6 he will be able to keep up with your blitzers!
I'd take the movement!

I'd always take +ma for a thrower.

In addition for easier ball recovering, it might save you the gfi to reduce the length of the pass.
And since he already got +ag and he will rarely throw long passes (at least my orcs don't), accurate isn't that important.

No doubt about it, take the +MA! Biggest drawback of the orc thrower is that he's slow, +MA fixes that nicely!

As has been said, +1 MV is superb for Orc Throwers. The fact that you have AG4 already is even more of a bonus ... gives extra range to that AG. :)

+MA for sure. More range to pick-up the ball, can keep-up with your Blitzers. You can easily get accurate for you next skill roll (if your league is long enough).

+MA! opens up the option of faking the pass and running the ball.

+MA is great on a thrower. If you've got AG 4 already then you don't need accurate as badly and the extra coverage in the back field is well worth it.

However I suspect you are asking the question because you pass the ball a lot - which makes accurate more useful - but isn't optimal Orc play.

I totally agree that MA is better (especially if he's your only Thrower), but don't knock the Orc passing game. In 11 seasons, I've been blessed twice with +1AG Throwers, one with Accurate, and one with Strong Arm. This gives the Orcs an awesome passing game. You rush a bunch of guys through the hole your Black Orc punches in their sidelines, and make a loose cage as deep as you can (don't be afraid to GFI if you have rerolls). If they don't put a TZ on all your guys, you throw to the open guy and score in 2 turns. If they DO get a TZ on every Orc in their backfield, your "catchers" beat the snot out of them.

More often than not, when an opponent thinks he's won or forced OT by scoring in turn 6 or 7, you can use a +1AG Accurate Thrower to turn the game around. I still think that +1 MA is better, but it's a myth that Orcs can't play a passing game if they have the right Thrower.

+ MA makes the cage faster, and allows you to keep up with your blitzers. It IS also good for the throwing game. With AG 4 he's already a 2+ on a quick pass, and thus the accurate would only be good for short passes or above (aside from passes in a tackle zone, which are rare IMHO for properly escorted orc throwers).

The +MA is almost as good - it's quite often that an extra move will be able to get you down a throwing band.
