Lionwarrior +1MA or skill

My lionwarrior has 51 SSP and hes has catch, block, dodge, sprint.
Now i don´t know the next to give to him. The dices are good to me, +1 MA. but i´m thinking of leap.
What do you think?
And my phoenixwarrior has pass and accurate. There i´m thinking about sure hands or dump-off.
Help me, please.

I know the feeling, though. When I started BB I used to almost never take + MA instead of a skill. It's still wrong, though. You're undervaluing speed.

+1 MV is undervalued. It doesn't feel as good as a skill sometimes, but believe me it is. I have a MV9 Human Blitzer with Dodge. It is amazing how often he uses that extra movement ... bursting out of a shallow cage into the endzone.

Can somebody explain me why a MA upgrade is that good? I don't doubt it is, I just don't see why yet (especially for fast teams)

+Ma gives him a range of 12 (as he has sprint yet), so he needs just one push into the opponents field to get a late OTS. Scoring is a lot easier as the choice of running lines is wider and avoiding 3 or 4+ dodges is a lot easier. He will be a scoring threat as long as he is in the opponents half. This way he will take some pressure from the rest of the team as he needs to be covered in case of a turnover......

The reason I would take the +MA is because it makes him better at getting in your opponents backfield and trying to steal the ball on a deep kick. Which is vital vs bashy teams that manage the clock.
But +ma simply helps you every turn, without needing to roll a dice or something.

+ma for the lion, no question. if it had been a double 5, there would have been SOME possibility for debate, but I would still have recommended +MA anyway.
Sure hands for the phoenix, again it's pretty cut and dried. Anything you can give yourself to reroll vital rolls is a good thing...and throwers tend to pick up the ball on a relatively frequent basis.

Since your LW has sprint, +1MA is a must!
Give your PW surehands. Last night, my #&*@!% PW [pass, accurate, safe throw] kept rolling 1s for ball pickups. And even wasted a coupla team RR. OAOA it's called, the elf curse. Grr....
