Goblin with block gaining second double

Post by Totti »

In our Vault league one of my goblins gained a second skill.

He has block allready and now the dice came up double 5.

What to do?

The rest of the team isn't that great :2 trolls with guard, 2 diving tacklers, 1 with catch and the rest didn't gain a skill yet.

Sure hands, I'd say. That way you have as reliable a ballcarrier as goblins get without stat increases.
If he gets a third skill, give him sure feet.

Going to go with The Florist here, and not only for ball-carrying.

Stunty and Sure Hands is the best you'll get for grabbing the ball from any tight spot.

I'd do Side Step as a next skill though, to save him from some grief.

tackle. gobbo's have a hard enough time to taking down blodgers or even dodgers that a block, tackle gobbo becomes your team's blitzer. U can always use a RR to pick up the ball.

strip ball. Strip ball gobbos win games if your opponent has no sure hands. Kick deep and throw the gobbo on defense to nick the ball and score, or dodge him into the cage and hope to knock the ball loose. As a gobbo you won't win too many games but the more sneaky tactics you have the better. I love gobbos with strip ball.

Sure hands would help more on offence though, but way less fun.

Strip ball would be good, but that little fellow will last all of two games.

was leading stunty cas causer in ranked when he died. team imploded after that and I moved them to divX......

but never regretted taking tackle on him. take a player down....then gobbo swarm fouls them off.

also tackle works great with Diving Tackle :)

There's always Dauntless...

Reason: ''
What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Tuern i'm going to hunt your halflings down with my new Goblin blitzer. Block and Tackle will cause some serious damage (I hope)

dauntless or dirty player. dauntless is a better choice, honestly, but dirty player is a lot more "gobliny".

And with the Sneaky Git coming into PBBL 1.11 ... a Dirty Player, Sneaky Git goblin is a lot of fun.

If you don't go this route ... I'd probably go with the Tackle option and then Diving Tackle option.

Galak

Sneaky Git?

Also, I'd take Strip Ball.

Agility skill. Player is not ejected if he rolls doubles on a foul for the Armour roll if he failed to break armour.
