My krox on this team
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team& ... _id=190854 rolled his 2nd double (5+5), first was block. Now there are so many usefull choices that i could need some input.
Dodge and stand firm could help now and later after he got break tackle. Tackle is nice with his tail and cool for blodgeing linefodder. shadowing could help keeping in touch with some blocking targets and is nice with the tail as well. sidestep could make him a REAL Nuissance. Pro gives him some reliability. diving tackle should make sure there is now way away. frenzy could help getting inside cages, but it's more or less for the fluff, +ma is not needed, but it's always an option even if it's not the best...
Thx for your help

For me the choice would be between Tackle and Pro.

For me it would be Tackle or Stand Firm
If it is likely you'll get him a third skill, Stand Firm would mean you have one nasty Guard. Tackle is always a good idea and combines well with the tail...

Looking at the FUMBBL page I see that this nasty bugger already has Guard, so you're right, Stand Firm is great on this guy.

Or Diving Tackle. Combined with Prehensail Tail, Ooch!

Stand firm would also combine nice with break tackle as a next skill.

Agreed, both for their combination with Prehensile Tail.

man that is a nice problem to have, tons of good options. i think i would go with dodge, esp if, as you say, you are thinking about break tackle next...

Sidestep would be evil as well. So many good options. It's really not fair to get multiple doubles on a big guy.

It's not meant to be fair though is it...
You could always take the +MA...

Frenzy is an interesting option too. MA6 & S5 & Block he's got a lot of ability to make use of it - and make lovely big holes for the skinks to run through. Obviously it doesn't compliment Prehensile tail - so if you prefer to use him as a "marker" then tackle, diving tackle or stand firm are better choices.

i gave my krox stand firm as i usually play bashing teams, blodgers wont get near him too often. sf is best with the tail and his other skills. dodge is nice as soon as he gets break tackle but that's 10 cas/int away, until then it will only help when getting hit. sf helps dodging as well.
thx for all your input.

Standfirm would be my fist joice: So you can dodge without fear and he will be more mobile...
And if you give him guard as a 3rd skill he'll be all you need

Actually in my experience (with a Rat Ogre mind you) the tail does combine with the frenzy somewhat. Last tourney I've made good use of it a couple of times when people man-marked my RO to try to pin it and with the 2 frenzy follow up moves I could often still get next to dodgy types of players. It's also the ultimate cage breaker vs agility teams, get right in the middle of 'em and make it hard for them to dodge away from that badass, but obviously with lizzies you won't be facing many agility teams that cage up.
