Orc Team for the Blood Bowl - apo?

OK I'm putting together a 1 million orc team for the Blood Bowl. I have thought long and hard about team selection and have narrowed it down to two options:

4 Blitzers
3 Black Orcs
5 Linemen
3 RR
FF1

or...

4 Blitzers
3 Black Orcs
4 Linemen
3 RR
FF1
Apothecary

So my question is: to apo or not to apo!

Is the 12th player more useful?

Or is the apothecary too crucial to leave out?

Cheers,
Pip

Personally I like a 12th player, as I think I'm more likely to get a liner sent off than to lose an AV9 player, but if you aren't fouling with the eye, the apo should be more efficient.

12th player is much better IMO.

Think I will go for 12 (my first instinct) but will playtest both just to be sure.

If apothecaries were auto success I'd take one. But there not so I probably won't :-?

Thanks for the advice.

What about 4 / 4 / 4 / 0 / 2 / 4 ???? Same debate again (12th man or apo) but for the ditching of the RR you do get all 4 bullies.... Do you NEED 3 RR??? or is the 3rd a luxury?

I personally tend to need 3 yes, especially without taking any Sure Hands, 4 is nice, but should be considered a luxury.

If you can stand doing the grinding play style, 2 should be enough, as you should only be rolling d6'es for armour rolls, and nothing else.

Sure hands goes on a blitzer first, then I'd alternate guard, mighty, guard, mighty for the other four picks.

Of course...

There's 4 Bobs, 4 bltizer, 1 troll, 2 goblins, 2 RR, 1 FF and 50k spare ;)

No Trolls/Goblins/Throwers for me...

And no Sure Hands either last tournaments, worked a treat.

you're ORCS man...you don't need a bench. you're av9! take a chance! it lets you put your best roster on the field!

do this:

4bob 32
4bli 32
2 li 10
1 thr 7
3 rr
1 ff

or if you REALLY don't want the thrower (i think sure hands with AG3 is a must!) switch him for a line orc and 2 more ff.

Sorry Lucy,

Your cryptic coding was far too cryptic for me to de-code!
