This is my second game in our league. The norse won their first match.
They have 3 blitzers,one with dogde.
6 Linemen
2 Catcher
1 Thrower

4 RR.

Should i take the kickoff or recieve the ball?
Hit him often as i can?
Last game i kick the ball to the woodies and he scored in turn 5 ( i wasn´t able to take the ball after i put the catcher down ).

I'm not normally freaky about spelling, but the plural of "dwarf" is "dwarves" or "dwarfs." Either one is fine... it was "dwarfs," and then Tolkien (IIRC) brought "dwarves" into general usage.

I know English isn't your first language and all, so please don't take this as me putting you down, just a friendly language tip.

If you win the kickoff, choose to receive the ball. The key to beating Norse is AV7, which means he's got no staying power. Just keep hammering those linemen and eventually they'll crack. AV7 also means they're very vulnerable to fouling, so if you get that Blodging blitzer down, kick hell out of him.

So if you get the ball, focus on a good cage first, then use all your might to smack him until that armor starts cracking. Then smack him some more.

The game is tonight.
How should i put my dwarfes ( ) on the field?
Against the woodies i let my two runners in the back. But now the norse are not so quick. I´m thinking to put all my longbeards on the LOS in my defense, the two blitzers one behind and the trollslayer and runner in the backfield. On offense i change one longbeard with the second runner.
In our league we have a special, we play with time out ( once per half ). In the time out you can substitute one player ( only if you have a twelfes player, of course ) and bring the new player in on the LOS.

Never give the other Team extra Blocks on your Players, he also has Block, so your Block Advantage is not so big. The only Advantage you have is your AV9 so go for the Blocking game but not in that was. Also dont forget he has Frenzy, so use it against him.

i play chaos dwarves. against the norse player in our league, my first priority was the ball. once a hobgoblin has the ball, which would be your runner, i just hit him as often as i could, and forced my way down the field. as he has lots of block to, try to maximize those 2-dice block, anywere you can. make sure your runner has some protection from a blitz, try to keep a couple of players with him. troll slayer or blizter could be a good option for this.

Your best option is the cage though, AV 9 with block Vs. AV 7 with block means you do have the upper hand, and if you have that cage then grind your way down the field. Constantly push forwards, and dont give him a moment to let up. if he makes a break-away, hit him. if he blocks you, block him back with two-dice. with AV 7 after a few turns of blocking, he should have at least a couple stunned or off the pitch, giving you more room to manuver. Post the results of the game if you can !

It was a draw 0:0. I try to block every norse. 3 was going into the k.o. box. and didn´t come back in the second half. I had to kick the ball and the final pass from the norse fail and my runner try a pass in the seventh turn but was intercepted. Second half i have the ball but a blitz and three!! norse stay around the ball. That costs me two turns to make the touchdown. My ballcarier was blocked and a longbeard catch the ball, he was to slow. In the 8th turn i had to go 7 squares, i tried a handoff, fail, so a draw with lot of blocking. I have to think about ma tactics.
Next time against human, i hope it will be better.
Now i have two draws in the league. But i get 70.000 GP after the next game i get my second trollslayer and after that i earn the money for deathroler or grim.
