I have doubts between three starting rosters.
I like the passing game and my opponnents have all kind of rosters (necro, undead, elves, dwarves, skaven...)

Option 1

1 Blitzer
1 Catcher
1 thrower
8 Line-elfs
7 FF
1 RR
1 Apo

Option 2
2 Blitzers
2 Catchers
1 thrower
6 line-elfes
7 FF
1 RR

Option 3
1 Blitzer
1 Catcher
1 thrower
8 Line-elfs
7 FF
2 RR

any suggestions?

I read that post, but couldn't find a roster that's suitable for a passing game.

I started in the league with

9 lineelf
1 lionwarrior
1 dragonwarrior

3 FF
3 RR

Never start with 1 RR. I get my thrower after the second match.

But i prefer the starting linup:

2 dragons
1 lion
1 phoenix
7 linelf

2 RR
4 FF

the first lineup startes, because i was lucky in the first 3 games. No dead or injury.
So after the first match buy an apo.
And then the next lionwarrior.
Skills on lineelves: block,block,block
Skills for lions: block, dodge, sprint or sure feet
for the phoenix : accurate, dump off
for the dragons : dodge, leap

if you get upgrades ( MA, ST ) take them. AG i would only take for the phoenixwarrior.

ANY high elf roster is suitable for a passing game.

At TR100 you're going to have to make some sacrifices to have a healthy league team.

I'd suggest:

1 Lion
10 Line
2 rr
9 ff
10k treas

I know that roster looks like it sucks. But you can still win with it, no problem, and you'll thank yourself later with all the cash you're raking in. Plus you're already 10k towards an apothecary.

I second that opinion. With that 10k in the bank, you need to roll very badly on both the gate and cash rolls, not to get the remaining 40k needed for the apoth.

And, if you are lucky, you can have your second blitzer after game 2. On averAGE rolls, its the apoth after game 1 and the second blitzer after game 3.

Then, two more games for an additional catcher (or the second blitzer, if you went for the catcher as your first choice). From then on, if you havent suffered some serious damage, it should be getting easier to win games.

oh-oh, look at him...

he won last year, now has to defend his title, and he comes here to seek help! tssssss.....

As for my 2 cents, knowing our league, I wouldn't start without an apo...
