Starting D Elf (100) in special league LRB 5

The league I'm going to start in does not count FF towards TR.
Also every team starts with FF5 and cannot buy any.
We will be using the PBBL rules that should be the LRB5 soon...
Having said all that I am tempted to start with:
Roster 1:
6 Line
4 Blitz
1 Runner
2 RR
Do you think I will hurt from the lack of Apo?
Should I start with this instead?
Roster 2:
7 Line
2 Blitz
2 Runner
2 RR
1 Apo
Thanks in advance.
I can't wait to read your opinions!

4 blitzers. i like that. 4 block.
id be tempted to say roster 1. without and apoth it shouldnt hurt so much unless your unlucky. i say roster 1 but make sure your first buy is an apoth.

4 Blitzers. I definately go that way as it offsets players playing Norse/ Amazons in early stages and gives you a bit more strength/ defence on the front line!

Absolutely 4 Blitzers (it's always enjoyable watching a 4 Blitzer D.Elf team beating up on things. They're also pretty good against Dwarfs, which always makes me happy), just don't let them work as the primary TD scorers. Skill up the linemen first, Blitzers can score TDs pretty easily later on.
And get that second runner asap.

I think I would try to get a roster with 3 rerolls from the start

So you think roster 2 with another RR instead of Apo would work best?

I'd never begin a league without an apothecary, especially not when I'm fielding Elves. One unlucky game might ruin the rest of the league for you.
Why do you need 4 Blitzers to start with anyway ? You can only make one blitz each turn

Yes, that or the same with one less runner and a lino instead (1 AV 7 seem enough)

I'd go with option #1.

In the PBBL that is not an issue. The apoth costs 50k always. And re-rolls double in price.
You can field a journeyman to replace the one guy your apoth could have re-rolled the injury on.
I strongly reccomend going with 4 Blitzers to start. I like Lineup 1 a great deal.
I have started both Wood Elves and Woody Elves with no apoth, and been just fine. AV 8 elves are even easier to pull it off with.
Buy the 3rd re-roll after the apoth (games one and 3 hopefully) would be my advice.
