Hi mates,
During my holidays i plan to translate/update/improve the tactics i have ever made there:
http://fredweb.chez-alice.fr/def.php
This is still in french but that will be available in english.

But, since i have done this job a couple of years before, i suppose they are bbowlers who have made great samples of tactics movements/ player upgrades etc...

Do you know where can i find new ideas, new setups, new upgrades, simply news about bbowl tactics ?
The aim is to make something realistic and not just good on the paper... and to make a .PDF file of the whole project, maybe useful for tournaments
 or for those who don't play very often.

Thanks for your advices

Ah, so it's your site! Congratulations on a magnificient play collection. Someone else pointed me to it a week ago or so, which caused me to get totally distracted from whatever else I should be doing. I even translated some of it (badly) using automated online translation services and saved it to disk. For personal use only, of course. :)

I'm very sorry I didn't see your post here until now. While I'm not sure I can provide any real assistance, maybe I can help with some ideas.

You see, I've been trying on and off to gather similar information myself, but found that it's somewhat uncommon. There's this site, The Blood Bowl PlayBook, which has done a decent job copying strategies from around the Web, but IMHO its maintainer could have been a little more discriminating.

I think your best bet would be browsing this forum. Formations and setup positioning have been discussed here a lot in the past.

Assuming you've already done that, you may choose to do as I did:download a JavaBBowl Replayer and sift through old matches from successful coaches on FUMBBL, or even FranceBloodBowl, taking note of effective setups. Which might be very time-consuming, quite often entertaining, and definitely educational.

Hope to see your own translations soon, the formation titles were really enjoyable!

It is an excellent site. Much appreciated.

It's also been a source of great amusement for our league since we ran it through babel fish and this line
Le reste: Blocage, Chataigne, ecrasement, joueur vicieux
came out as this in english
The remainder: Blocking, Sweet chestnut, ecrasement, vicious player
I want the Sweet Chestnut skill! It sounds awesome.
