Skill advice for Undead tourney team needed

I'll be using my Undead at a tourney (TR100) this weekend and I could use some tips on skills. This is my lineup:
2 Mummies
2 Wights
2 Ghouls
4 Zombies
3 Skelettons
3 RR
0 FF

This lineup is final, so I don't need any tips there
The tourney is 6 games (LRB5), 1 skill after every match, so 5 skills total. No doubles.

At another tourney I was very successful with the following skills:
2 Guard on Mummies
2 Guard on Wights
2 Block on Ghouls

but that was "6 skills before the tourney".
How would you adjust that for "1 skill after every match"? Obviously I won't have the same amount of Guard, especially in earlier matches, so my blocks will be less reliable, especially on the Mummies.

I was thinking
1) Block on a Ghoul (to have a ball carrier that is harder to take down and have a third blitzer.
2) Guard on a Wight (to help my mummies, with just 1 more assist I have 3D blocks, especially helpful on the line at kickoff)
3) Guard on a Mummy (to have a nasty Guard on a ST5 piece)
4) Guard on a Mummy
5) Guard on a Wight

What do you think? Would you switch the order? Take other skills? The teams will probably be well rounded, some bash and some flash. Should I take Tackle on a Wight? If so, when?

I'd start-off with sure hand on a Ghoul. Then probably block on the two mummies. Not sure after that.

Do you know what type of teams you are likely to play? If more bashy, then lots of guard is good (as you seem to be planning). But if more agililty teams will be present, then tackle on the wights would be very good.

Since you will be able to see what types of teams are at the tourney, then you can adjust at the tourney.

ummm i hat e to break it to you but mummies can't take block as a "normal" skill anymore

I would blodge up a ghoul the guard on a wight for skill and 2 but for me skill progression depends on what other teams are at the tourney

Like I said, it will probably be well-rounded. Some bash and some agility teams. Probably a little bit more bash, but not much. Of course, if I see at the tourney, that my estimate is totally off, I will adjust accordingly.

I don't like Sure Hands on a Ghoul in a tourney, I just don't get as much use out of it as out of Block. Sure it saves me the occasional RR on a pickup and protects against strip ballers, but Block just sees more uses, and my Ghouls sure can use it to survive.

If I see more agility teams, I will probably take Tackle as 2nd skill, giving it to a Wight, and then go the Guard route from there. Basically, I need Guard to make my Mummies reliable, as they can't get Block anymore.

But keep the input coming...

That looks like a waste of mobility, your opponent will probably try to avoid the mummies anyway so it is easy to move in some assists after the kick to get in some 3 die blocks. Of course it depends on how you want to play your undead. I agree with Cramy about taking tackle on a wight. Also in LRB 5 you could take frenzy on a wight. Sure hands or block on a ghoul... if you keep your wights to do the moving and blitzing sure hands might be more useful. If you tie your wights to the LOS, you will surely need a ghoul for a blitzer.

1 Sure Hands on Ghoul
2 tackle on Blitzer
3 M.Blow on blitzer (if going for bash) or Styrip Ball if going for TD.
4 Guard on Mummy
5 Guard on Mummy

´First I'd change a zombie and a skellie for the 3rd ghoul.
For skills:
Block on a ghoul.
Guard on a Whight
Guard/Tackle on 2nd Whight
Guard on a Mummy
Wrestle for a ghoul

See you at the tournament

sure hands on ghoul
guard on wight
guard on wight
multiblock on mummy
guard on mummy

with enough guard, the multiblock should be useful on a semi-regular basis. and honestly, why wouldn't you want extra hits with st5 and mightyblow?

I keep forgetting that Mummies don't get access to general skills in LRB5 ... In a few months I'll probably remember.

Multiblock is an interesting suggestion. Problem is, you cannot follow up a Multiblock, and as I don't have Block, there will be a lot of instances, where I don't get my opponent down. I need my Mummies on my opponents. But I will think about it.

WHOA! Wights get ST access. I may need to change teams again.

Apparently I need to rethik my strategy because I see Guard on Wights as a waste.

This is a Necro-team (hastily) converted to an Undead team by adding 2 Mummies and 3 Skelettons
When I made my roster last Saturday, I was missing either 1 Ghoul or 1 Skeletton, I had some Warhammer Skeletton Plastics lying around, so ...

OK, tournament is over, I finished 13th of 22 and I missed my goal of finishing in top half. But I won Most CAS

I went with the 13 player, 2 Ghouls roster, and I'm happy that I did. 12 players is not enough. There were a lot of games where I really needed the 13 players, because my opponents made a lot of KO.

The tourney was very agility-heavy, I played against Human, Amazon, Woodelf, Darkelf, Skaven and Norse.

I took:
1) Tackle on a Wight (was very good in every game except the last)
2) Guard on a Wight
3) Guard on a Mummy
4) Guard on a Mummy
5) Block on a Ghoul

Overall I was happy with my skill choices. Hadn't there been so many agility teams, I'd have taken Block on a Ghoul as a first skill and that would have been very nice also. I only missed Sure Hands on a Ghoul in one game (against Skaven) when I couldn't pick up the ball for 4 turns and therefore couldn't score the game winner.

The huge amount of Guard is really needed, as I need to be able to reliably camp my cage for some turns while I decimate my opponent. Only Guard helps in this case as it is not always possible to have your cage corners free of opponent players.

Good choices, one can´t go wrong with a lot of Guard. If there wouldn´t have been so many agility teams I´d taken Frenzy instead of Tackle. If you still don´t hit with the second Block you may at least have pushed your target next to one of your Mummys.

I normally use a diferent roster, my roster is this one:

2 Mummys
2 Wights
4 Ghouls
3 Zombies
1 Skeleton

2 RR
1 FF
1 Cheerleader
1 Coach

And the skills:

1- Block - Ghoul
2- Block - Ghoul
3- Frenzy - wight
4- Block - Ghoul
5- Block - Ghoul

It works quite good
