I bought a Valkyrie team deal through Impact! Miniatures, specifically the 12 figure team deal (11 Valkyries and a Snow Troll) and I'm trying to decide if I want to play it as a Norse team or a regular Human Team.

I've come up with two rosters using just the figures in the deal.

Norse roster:

9 Linewomen (using the blocker figures as line, because from the pictures I've seen they don't look more armored or anything and I intend to differentiate player types by writing the position on the front edge of each base)
2 Throwers
Ice Troll
4 RR (my dice luck is so bad)
30k in treasury


Human Roster
5 Linewomen
1 Thrower
1 Catcher
4 Blitzers
1 Ogre (using Ice Troll model)
0 RR

Any suggestions?

Well since norse blitzers don't have any more armour than the linemen, you could easily use them as such.

7 linewomen
2 throwers
2 blitzers
snow troll
3 RRs
10K for an AC, CL, FF or saved towards apoth

You're already lacking ulfwereners and runners given the models you've got to work with, I think you need the blitzers.

I think I'm going to go with that list. Seems a lot more balanced than my original idea.

So....advice on using it? Strategy?
