Giving a CD Kick ... is this unseemly?

I've got a second skill on a CD with Mighty Blow and I'm starting to consider giving him Kick over Guard. My rational is that for the time being this guy will be set off the LOS and near the middle of pitch to take advantage of the blitzing with Mighty Blow, at least until the bulls get MB. Given this, it might make sense to actually give him Kick given his likely kickoff position. Also, it saves having to give it to a hobgob, who tend to not be long for the world.

Thoughts? Should I just stop being cute, shut up and give the guy Guard or Piling On? I have no Guard on my team yet and Bl / BT on one bull and BT on the other bull.

I would say guard, but I rarely set my cds off the line

I think you're thinking too short term. The bulls will get MB and hobgobs skill up fast. Stick to the basics and give him guard.

Yup, stop being cute :) . Save the kick for a hobgob. MB + Guard are the staple of your team--especially in LRB5. Otherwise, you'll get blown off the LOS and outbashed because you're attempting to be too finesse-oriented with the dwarf-half of your roster.

Besides, the really fun/wacky skills to give a dwarf are pro or strong arm... :D

Kick is for Hobgobs. You need to take Guard.

Yep, absolutely, especially if you don't have any guard at present. Hold off on Kick and give it to a Hobgoblin.

Good man, good man. I'm glad we could help. :D I personally regret every Dwarf that does not have Guard. They just feel like imposters.

Guard or Stand Firm. But Guard First!

Or Piling On, if your league isn't into fouling. Just to get your league into fouling...
