Orc Blitzer with Doubles 10

Take the +MA, Dodge, or what? Kinda torn. I've seen how valuable blodgers are, but have a speedster is great, too. Good development options that way as a ball carrier or ball hunter.
New team, first game, only skill up, 3 blitzers, 3 BOB, thrower, goblin, troll, 2 lineorcs.

Take the dodge.
Sure - your other options are nice, but dodge is absolutely awesome on an orc blitzer.

I'm not a big fan of dodge on Orc teams - because your opponent normally will have a couple of guys with tackle and if you've only got the one or two dodgers its easy to neutralise it. So I think that the best options are either the MA (MA7 Blitzers are really useful and an unexpected suprise for your opponent) or maybe even Diving Tackle (great against Elves when backed up with tackle).

I have a couple of MV 7 Orc Blitzers, and they are great.

MA+ on a rookie blitzer is gold. So you can build him as a ball retriever.

I'd go for the + 1 MV too.
Maybe something else when you have a lot of gobbos and use them mainly for ballhandling.

I think +1MA is better, but dodge is not a bad option (but certainly the other team will have some guys with tackle looking for your blitzer...)

Getting a couple of Diving Tackle/Tackle Blitzers on an Orc team is a joy. Goes a long way to curbing a fast/agile teams movements and causes a lot of turnovers.
Never tried +1MA so can't compare. Just thought DT needed an advocate...

+MV is great. I've always advocated speed and will almost always take it over anything else.
That said, Blodging Blitzers are a thing of beauty and Tacklers be darned. There are never that many around anyway and you can easily mark them with tough players when you're playing Orcs so it's a brilliant combo and very tough.
That Diving Tackle suggestion though. It's a VERY good suggestion. It means you definately want to take Tackle next but I'm sure you souldn't have any qualms about doing that anyway if you've already got Block, DT.
You've got a nice little dilemma there. Have fun.

We had a +MA Orc Blitzer in our league, he was always the one you never defended well enough against, he would be through your lines to score before you knew what had hit you.
He attracted bounties and hit squads galore, people would kill him only for him to be Apo'd
a real pain, therefore I would suggest the +MA, alternatively Diving Tackle/Jump Up

I'd take the MA - speed is what you need

!
Regarding DT: I think it's also a great skill but I'd take Stand Firm as a second skill instead of tackle, otherwise he'll just get pushed away...

Do you want to be better at bashing or make up for weaknesses?
Take +AV or +MA. Dodge is nice, but MA is used more and AV10 is soooo good.

+MA is nice, and I'd take it without question on a non-doubles 10. But I think I'd go with Dodge when doubles are in play. But it depends a lot on your playstyle. I dodge with orcs quite a bit, especially the blitzers.
MA7 is certainly a solid option as well.

I rolled (5,5) once and took Jump Up (and then next skill dodge, then stand firm). I wish I had taken the MV.

Thanks for all the advice, guys. I went with the MA. Since both are quite valuable, I went with the odds, much easier to roll another doubles than a 10 on 2d6.
