Keep a 2 strength Wood Elf?

Pretty specific situation here, guys...

My last game with my Wood Elf team was painful...although I won 4-2, I lost 4 guys for next game, including my tree. While it dropped my TV quite a bit, it also leaves me with a roster dilemma. My miss next's are taking up room on my roster, and journeymen are taking up even more room. I'm going to be able to field 11, but with room for just one star player (I'm going to be able to induce more, but no room). Taking up a spot on my roster is a dodging line-elf, with a -1 strength, but just skilled up again. Would you keep this guy, or would you dump him for a roster spot for a star?

If keeping, what skill would benefit a 2 str lino? Dirty player?

Mmm, I reckon a Star would help you out more the next game and even after that, a journeyman/rookie would probably be as much use-he's just fodder really, so you could make him a blodger/wrodger and stick him on the LOS.

But I'd dump him-he adds 110 to your TR, but aint worth it in my opinion.

Star Players may not take the number of players in the
team to more than 16. However, players that are missing the
game due to injury do not count towards the number of players
on the team
, so you can use Star Players to replace players that
are missing a game if you wish.
Not an issue. you have plenty of room for stars.

Wow, maybe I should read the rules:) I took my commish's word for it, that bastard...okay then, what skill, do you think? I'd like to be reckless with him, and wreak as much havok as possible before his inevitable end.

I think I'd still give him the boot.

But if you want to keep him and wreak havoc then make him a Dirty Player, using his Dodge to get him to where you want him.

I would probably give him Kick if you didnt have a kicker already. If not, give him Block and put him on the LOS. Thats one less healthy elf that has to be on the LOS.........With Kick he would play more in the back, and you can use him more to run up and assist a block for one of his mates.......

With two skills that str 2 lino is going to cost you 110 TV
For a STR2 AV7 piece thats alot, even with two skills.

I'd drop him and put that 110 TV towards a merc treeman until you get yours back...

Ditch him. You don't want him getting the MVP for a start.

I'd keep him for this one game while you have all the mng...and for his "last" skill give him dirty player. make sure he goes out with a bang. ;)

Agree with Wesley. Use him to scare ur opponent a bit or maybe to take some of the pressure off your positionals and give assist where it's needed.

Play the woodies dirty !!! :pissed:

As much as I like Wesley's DP idea, I'd go with the TV trim as well. A star or Merc Treeman will be far more useful in the stopgap game.

I think having 4 people (incl. the tree) missing is plenty of TV trimming for one game. I'd play somebody a little bigger, so you get a little inducement.
