Treeman development issue

Hi
Just a theoretical question as I've started a new league with humans recently & my mind was wandering on wood elves & their development (for some reason). I recalled the treeman starts on AV 10 & realised a potential issue with its development; isn't it possible that will enough SPPs you could be lucky enough in your rolls to gain two addition AV points? Thus having a treeman on the team which the opponent can knock down but is impossible to injure - except with a player with Mighty Blow.
Has anyone ever had this on their Wood Elves team? Is there any point trying to block such a treeman?
Ta
Matt...

All Stats are maxed out at a value of 10. Says so right in the rules.

There's always a reason to knock down a treeman (TIMBERRRRRR!). For starters, he needs a 2+ followed by a 4+ just to stand up...my Skyreach Toughbark has spent many a turn fitfully trying just to get up. Second, you can foul the bejezzus out of him, and might break with assists.
Now, if you don't have a big guy on your team to go toe to toe with a tree, you may not find it worth it to get enough assists to get a two die block on him. In that case, just run away from his two movement...just be careful, he may sneak up on you and give you a branch to the head.

A smart coach will ignore the tree on a wood elf team entirely, not setting up near it and not trying to block it. The tree is just an AV 10 distraction trying to get you to notice (and block) him instead of the AV7 wood elves.
I often ACT very concerned when my opponent gangs up on my tree. It's even better if they gang up a bunch of people to try and foul him...I REALLY play it up then, I might even act indignant or annoyed. But to be honest it all plays right into my hands. Every guy wasting his time around the tree is a guy who's NOT hindering my elves in their quest for yet another TD.
As for the original question, though, a coach may not raise the tree's armor higher than 10. Take something else with that roll.

If it were 10 instead of AV you should be taking the Movement boost.
I would even suggest the 1st move boost to move 3 even if you could get av 1l or av 12.
Not having to roll to stand up is serious business .!
Barring that. Jump up and Block and tackle are all very good choices. (Or pro)

I don't think I would use a 10 on a tree for +MA generally... My method for standing up a treeman generally just involves scoring quickly.
Definitely not if it was 5,5. I'd prefer Block to MA3 every time, no question.

I recently played a game as halflings against undead, I won 3-1 mainly because of bad kicking and the fact that my mate used a good 5 or 6 players trying to get rid of the treemen for the whole game!
