Experienced snow troll what to take next?

Post by atropabelladonna »

My Snow Troll

Ulf Samuelson

5518 (normal snow troll skills) + Guard, Mighty Blow, Tentacles (thanks Chaos Cup), Juggernaught.

Is about to skill up. I am not sure what to take as a 4th skill. If its doubles, I'll take Block for sure. But what if it isn't?

Piling On (doens't work so well with tentacles, guard, and wild animal) but I can cause even more casualties...

Thick Skull seems weak...

Multiple Block seems like a lot of effort, but may be my best choice?

Thoughts?

Non-doubles ... seriously consider Stand Firm to make sure your opponents cannot blitz him away to avoid the Tentacles.

A vote for Stand firm for the same reason Galak provided.

Although, give that his name is "Ulf Samuelson", you might want to give him Piling On for fluffiness (i.e. so he can do something similar to the knee-check on Cam Neely :P )

You definitely want Grab so that you can push your opponent where you really want him so that you can better take advantage of the Frenzy.

If you have frenzy you can't get grab, and vice-versa.

I vote for stand firm too, useful as galak says. also good because you can now frenzy people off the pitch with more safety (unless someone has juggernaught, of course).

Whilst I won't shout, I will agree. SF is the way to go. Obviously a stat increase would be nice to follow that though

Dam, I forgot all about stand firm. I rarely use that skill.

I agree with what everyone says, stand firm it is.

Thanks!
