I've never been in a tourney for BB, but the trend seems to be 1.1 mil where you can buy skills. So I was thinking, what ... if... you bought 11 Norse Lineman and gave them a Strength upgrade. So your teams would look like this.

11 Lineman with ST+1
0 RR

That's it! You'd have 11 ST4 Norse Linemen with block. Maybe it wouldn't win, but it sure would scare the heck out of your opponent! lol.

Now to modify it, you could go with

10 Linemen with ST+1
2 Linemen

That'd give you that extra player that you usually need in a 1.1 mil tourney.

Want RRs?

7 Lineman with ST+1
4 Linemen
1 Runner (or Beserker) with ST+1
1 RR

That is some kind of Nasty! ..... At least.... I think it is. Suggestions?

I haven't seen many tournaments that allow you to buy stat upgrades. But if there is one you could take that team to it would be scary.

If I remember correctly, Package 4 at Zlurpee Bowl 3 allows a stat increase...

As did your options at Waterbowl and MonkeyBowl.

But only one on each team.

I think you misunderstood the concept of a 1.1 mil tourney. Every tourney I've heard of, you can use the money to buy players, fan factor and coaching staff. No skills !

Those are extra, like 'pick 5 skills before the tourney starts' or '1 skill after every game'.

You can buy skills at the carrot crunch but only ones you can "normally" access and no stat increases
