Dwarven Blitzer..5th skill

I've already made my choice on this one, but thought I'd ask what you'd have done in a similar situation:
Recently, one of my Dwarven blitzers got his 5th skill (the team is my MBBL dwarf team--here is the
roster, he's #2 on the roster).
Before the skill roll, my stat line was:
5/3/4/10 Block, Thick Skull, +1AG, Sure Hands, Dodge, +1AV.
Yes, he'd rolled pretty good on the skill rolls so far. I've been pretty happy with him as is--the +AV is nice, but I occassionly regret not giving him +MV instead. Anyway, on his 5th skill roll, I rolled +AG.
Would you have taken the agility 5 as I did? Or just some other skill?
Lack of agility is a weak point on a dwarf team--but he was already better than the rest of the team at agility 4. Tackle, Mighty Blow or Guard might have been more useful, mabye even fend. Since it wasn't a double roll, I couldn't take something like catch or side-step...

Nice team.
For sure I would've taken the ag on the blitzer. Gives you so many options when scoring and when blitzing. The av probably gives you alot of peace of mind on such a skilled player too. I fuly hear you on not taking the movement. That would've been my choice.
I find it intereting that you too mb over standfirm on your linedwarves. In the long run I can understand how it helped you get to 3 skills on many of them but still an interesting choice.

Only thing I think I'd have picked differently would have been the MA over the AV. AV10 isn't enough pay off for 30K when compared to MA6.

SF has generally been my 3rd choice. Guard or MB 1st, then the other one, then SF. However, every player on this team that I've given SF to has taken a stat hit (-AV on 2 blockers--one of which has died--and -ag on a slayer), so I may not do that on others that get to 3 skills. I probably should have started more with the Grab Skill instead of MB. All three are good skills to have on a blocker

very interesting. I've been going gaurd without as a first skill without any seond thoughts. It's the second skill that I'm undecided. I thought for sure standfirm be the way to go if I want to win games. Great for the cage.. great on defense. Grab however. That's something that I never thought of. I cna see where that skill would help out alot. Great for crowd surfing. Great for placing pushed players into dire situations.
Lots to think about now. Thanks.

Getting off topic a little but I don't tend to take MB on my blockers. I run a mixture of Guard,SF and Grab. With Diving Tackle on Doubles.
Grab is really handy when caging as well. Great for moving players out of the way as you stroll towards the end zone.

It's always been kind of a mix for me. Of my 7 blockers, only 2 have MB, one got +1 str instead of MB, and another got +1 AV..the rest have one or less skills.
My main reason for taking MB 2nd is that it helps them get spp's a little bit quicker. They are going to be throwing alot of blocks anyway (if I'm playing the team right) so getting slightly more casualties help them get to a 3rd or even 4th skill (none are at 4 yet after 43ish games--a couple are closing in on 51)
I'm wishing, now, that'd I'd taken more Grab at some point. For the 1st 30 or so games I took most of my skills based on pre-LRB5 logic...(ie..when selecting the skills, I didn't even consider most of the new skills outside of getting juggernaut for my slayers)
