Nurgle inducement dilemma

My team
3 Pestigors (one with extra arms)
4 Nurgle Warriors (3 with Claws)
1 Nurgle Beast (guard)
4 Rotters (3 with Foul Appearance, 1 with leader, 1 with claws)
3 RR
8 FF
This team is undefeated, and yes, I have NO BLOCK!!! I'm rather proud of that.
I'm playing a very good Necro team with 3 AG4 players (2 wights and a wolf). I have 290 thou in inducements coming my way. Do I...
1. Take Lord Borak the Despoiler with Block, MB MV5 ST5
2. Take Ripper with Grab, MB, Regen, MV4 ST6
3. Take Max Spleenripper ST4 Chainsaw guy and a Merc Pestigor with either guard, tackle, or stripball?

Borak will pay off bigtime!
Necro's are fast and could two turn you easily... even when you're on offence! So no SWs
Ripper is not bad but his Grab is best for maxing out ST hits... With 4Warriors and a Beast, ST his shouldn't be too much trouble for you...
You team may not have Block but I bet his team does! Borack will give you a reliable hitting force with a Great ST stat and a good AG to boot!
Borack all teh way!

Borak all the way.
Have you consider a wizard?

Borak, unless you want to keep it a team of blockless wonders.

Definitely Lord Borak. Bash 'em while they're up (Block/Mighty Blow), then kick 'em in the junk when they're down (Dirty Player).

Is this your team that is going for all mutations??? I remember a post about that recently. I see you are winning, what is your record.
Against Necro, I would go for a wizard, you have enough strength. That leaves 140K for a merc rotter with a skill or a skill less pestigor or spleenripper.
Do the were wolves have blodge?? Chain saw can fix that and you may even be able to protect him.
So I would go with Max Spleen ripper and a wizard to disrupt his offence.

It is the one and same mutation team. I'm still taking mutations as a first skill. I couldn't take a mutation on the Beast though since he only gets it with doubles. And I couldn't resist taking leader on doubles with my rotter. I've taken mutations every normal skill that i could. I even had another Rotter with Foul Appearance and Claws, but he got killed.
The Necro team has lots of guard (even 2 zombies have guard!), and one wolf is a monster. The other has AG4. That's why I was considering a merc Pestigor. Guard could help my Beast and Warriors on the line. Stripball could help me take down those wolves and ghouls with the ball (Horns + Stripball = good chance of getting the ball!)
My overall record with this team is 6-0-1 and I'm 4-0 in the current league. I'll probably buy my last Pestigor after this next game .

Would you actually use LB to foul someone?

He wouldn't be my first choice to foul with, but if the opportunity arose... he's got Dirty Player + Mighty Blow, why let "The Despoiler" go to waste?

Briefly. If I did that then no Borak. Is that a better choice? Max Spleenripper with a wizard?

The choice is either Wizard + Max or Lord Borak.
The first option gives you two high impact entities, one which can possibly stop a TD. The other can possibly dismantle the team. Both of them, once used are gone, so they have a short time window to work in, but are very effective when doing so.
Borak on the other hand is lower impact, but will be present all match breaking skulls. He will anchor up your defense by freeing up a Nurgle Warrior to cover elsewhere and strengthen your cage on offense. Plus with him you'll only have to field 2 Rotters all match.
I'd lean towards the lower impact Borak, as I'm of the opinion he's one of the top stars available in LRB5. But either choice has it's benefits.

None of the above....
Take either two rerolls and a babe... or one reroll, one igor and a babe....
These will directly benefit the team w/o being able to be taken away and/or suck up SPP....
But we'll see, come tomorrow....

Taking Max and a Wizard doesn't soak up points either (unless Max gets the mvp) since chainsaw guys don't really score spps during the match.
And with only 1 guy on the bench against a lethal team, I really need a bigger bench. I had 7 Rotters at one point but I fired 2 of them and one got killed the very next game of course.

The wiz doesn't, but you've seen how well it works.... Every "block" that Max makes is a block your guy won't possibly get points for and Max won't stay for long.... Still, ya gotta go with what feels right... game on!

Whiz on Lord Boredass... though he caused two casualties, he spent most of the game bouncing off my Flesh Golem!
AND he couldn't stop me from a 3-1 victory....
