Which line-up (lrb5.0) would you take with 1.100K and a free apo?

Free apoth? That's not fair for teams that can't get them. Do they get a free Igor?

Here's my line up:
1 Snow Troll
2 Ulfs
1 Beserker
1 Runner
1 Thrower
6 Lineman
3 RR
1 FF

You need a 12th player in a 1.1 tourney since you're a 7AV team. You could go with 2 Beserkers instead of a Runner. Don't know if JU and Frenzy is better than +1MV and Dauntless. I guess it's a personal preference.

So Kim, trying Norse again.

I always take the line-up Bucket-Head posted.

i'd go 13 players in 1.1 mil. i took 12 players to a tournament recently and in most games i was struggling men wise near the end.

my one for the world cup is

8 x linemen
1 x snow troll
1 x ulfwerner
1 x runner
2 x beserkers
3 x re rolls

in 1.1 the snow troll is worth his weight in gold. his skill will be mighty blow. i would only really think about guard as an alternative.

give block early on to the ulfwerner. he provides that extra bit of firepower, but does need block to make him much more reliable.

for the runner i'd go with sure hands. he's the fastest player on the roster so i'd be tempted to use it more than as a big guy hitter with his dauntless.

beserkers would go guard. this team needs to hit to gain the early advantage. giving them guard helps with this. nice combined with jump up.

linemen are the grunts to this team. kick, tackle, strip ball etc. they've got block so they're better than the oppositions lino's

i'll let you know how i get on after the weekend

Sorry, maybe i wasn't clear; it's not a tourney; it's a league. In addition, does anyone have any experience (other than Totti) how norse develop in a league?
I guess at higher team rating, they get the spanking of a lifetime?

We have some norse team in our leagues abd the mostly dominate in the begining but when its around TV200 it gets harder for them.

I think a norse team shall keep linemen low on skills (already have block), have Fend skill on some and develop the positionals to have a low TV just for the inducements.

I agree, Norse is great at the beginning of a league, but they lose something once all the other teams get block.

A league that starts with 1.1 AND an apoth? Where's the challenge with that? In that case, I would only start with 11 players and use buckethead's suggestions.
