Fast ball guys, played last night against W/E and my star blitzer reached his 51 SPP Mark (10SPP in that match) rolled Double 2 for the upgrade but as this is probably his last skill (For a time anyway) wanted some advice...
He's got Block/Dodge/jump up & Stand firm (D1) with no stat increases

First thought was Nerves of steel (is a double roll) or Wrestle (Not unexpected)
I dont want to go with MB/Piling on/Dirty player as they dont fit my playing style (Never given a player MB in 14 years on any teams!!, its wierd i know but it works for me!!)

Also considered Leader but have 4 RR already

Other skills in the team include

Dauntless on a Blitzer and a line elf
Pass block on a Witch
Sure hands on runners also 1 has Pass
And lots of Dodge & Block spread around as first choice skills

Im about 4 games away from league end and currently 2nd (until Buggrit plays today anyway) and have to play

Humans (Newbie)
Lizardmen
Necro (Experienced player and league leader with bashy team!!)
and 1 other (maybe another Human team, not sure)

Any advice would be welcome....

Guard? Works well with Stand Firm, and since you don't have any others with Guard or +ST.

I do have a St4 Blitzer on the team , should have listed that as well
also have a M8 Ag5 Lino (3 upgrades all stat increases, all witnessed by league players!!)

This just screams Guard. With Jump Up and Stand Firm as well he will be a real pain in the defensive line.

Guard is the best choice, but tackle with Lizards and Humans coming up wouldn't be a bad choice either. But I'd suggest Guard.

Guard for me too. Blodge/SF & guard really annoys people.
