Losing Niggling Injuries
I don't think I have put this in the right place, I think it should have been new concepts, but oh well.
I have been thinking of possibly of introducing a way of getting rid on niggling injuries, as if a real sportsman got one of these there is usually an operation to get rid of these, and lets face it, if you have a star blitzer with 151+ SPP's, you don't want to retire him through injury.
I was thinking of the operation cost being fairly expensive, say 100,000 GC and the player is then out for a length of time (due to recovery) equal to D8+6.
Another permertation is to do this in the off season, and I would then amend the length of time out to just a roll of a D8.
What do you think?

Here is a system I came up with in our league(although we still haven't used it and you will need a 12 sided dice).
Rehabilitation Table d12
Title SPPs Rehab
Rookie 0-5 (8 or less)
Experienced 6-15 (7 or less)
Veteran 16-30 (6 or less)
Emerging Star 31-50 (5 or less)
Star Player 51-75 (4 or less)
Super-Star 76-125 (3 or less)
Mega-Star 126-175 (2 or less)
Legend 176+ (1)
1. You may only rehab during offseason.
2. First roll a block die. If you roll a Pow then you may attempt to rehab the Niggling.
3. If the Pow is rolled then roll a d12 and refer to the rehab table above.
4. A player may only attempt to rehab 1 niggling per offseason.
5. Permanent attribute decreases may not be rehabilitated
Example: An Emerging Star has 2 nigglings and it's offseason. He rolls a block die and gets the Pow result. Now he rolls a d12. Since he is an Emerging Star, he must roll a 5 or less on the d12 to rehab. Only one niggling is rehabilitated.
It's a fairly simple system to use and I wanted something that would let me counter act ageing a little bit. It's really a hard roll to make but the older the player is, the less likely he is to rehab.

About Mumster's Rehab proposal, I fought tooth and nail to keep it out of the league with the idea that it will eventially throw out balance between the high TR teams and the newbies (not that their is much of one anyway). Our league is less than a year old and I would love to hear the more venerable BB community state their piece on this rule before it becomes accepted by us.
