A vampire purchasing question

Hi all, My Fummbl vamps continue to struggle to pull off a win....but here's my dilemma.... 140k banked.....and I could either buy..my 3rd vamp, or 3 thralls.
3 games in.

vamp. block
vamp. 4spp
thrall. sure hands
8 more thralls with 2- 4spp's

5 re rolls.

The " Safe play" is go with the 3 thralls, to build a bit of a food supply.
I'm wondering if it's suicide to go with vamp number 3 right now. Granted, he'll increase my thrall consumption...but will his abilities on field help me pull off some magic?

I'm a gambler at heart and I think you've gotta be nuts to play this team to begin with, but I'd like to avoid a COMPLETE suicide...(It's LRB 4, so when you're down, YOU'RE OUT BABY!)

Please, hit me with your best shot...

I'd take the 3rd vamp.
You can reliably pick up thralls on a 1 per game basis.
But seriously, when is the next time you'll have 140K lying around?

Cheers

I'd take the third vamp OR possibly even a 6th and final RR.

I'd go for Thralls. With only 11 players on the team you are going to get yourself in trouble soon, especially under LRB4.

Unexpected....a completely split camp.

I've managed the last 3 games with only 12 players, and the 3rd vamp would bring me back to 12.

I've really only got to survive one more game, before I can buy another thrall.

Or am I missing something?

I've found that in LRB5 (I know its different), that the best option is either the re-roll or vampire. You can't loose the re-roll, but the Vampire gives you more options on the field. It really depends on the way your team is skilling up though.

That's the wise move.
