Hey, medium length league (8 -12 games) with 5 game tournie at the end.
I'm 3 games in with 3 wins (so, i've been lucky!! shoot me

)
Team is bubbling nicely with
4 x Ghouls one with Block plus the new Double
2 Mummies (one has had a MVP)
2 x Wights
5 Skellies (one misses next game v Norse)
1 x Zombie (3 kills v Zons last night

)
3 x RR
A number of the other positionals are a point ot two away from a Skill roll
What do you think on the Ghoul? MB?
Thanks, d

I'd go for Pass. You have no normal access to passing skills.
This will improve your chances of scoring when you need to get the ball forward quickly.

Aye, Pass gets my vote as well.

Pass is good, NoS maybe?

NoS would be good for a ball retriever. Jump in, grab ball, throw it out.
Unfortunately it's not the best skill to start with. Maybe after Leap and Block, but not a first skill in my opinion.
Not to mention Pass will get alot more usage.

Ooow - i'd not have considered Pass which just goes to show.
Interesting - Undead with a Pass option
2nd Skill on this Ghoul if i went this route? Sure Hands?
Thanks fellas. d

Mighty Blow!
I have two ghouls with mighty blow in my undead team and they do really good (and they haven't got any tackle yet! Once they have tackle its hard for fast low AV team to run away).
You will get a fast killer and a good scorer.
My ghouls after 22 matches.
1. Mighty Blow, Block (soon Tackle) 5 TD + 5 Cas (and a comp for 26 spps)
2. Mighty Blow, Block, Frenzy (6 MA and a niggling) 4 TD + 10 cas (mvp+comp for 38 spps)
Pass is good but I have 5 rerolls and if you wan't a "thrower" make a Wight a passer with Sure Hands, Strong Arm and hope for a double. Better when you have block first (a ghoul need block and sure hands also to be a good passer and with AG3 he is so-so)
So again MIGHTY BLOW!

You better!
And with 2 mummies and 2 wights thats a potential 4 Mighty Blow killers + your ghoul! That scares the opponent

Really the passing skills are most interesting.
Leader - cheap reroll, particularly if you feel short.
Pass/Accurate - much of a muchness. Your lack of catch would encourage pass over accurate (so you've still got the reroll for the catch) but a lot of the time, with a team reroll available, accurate improves your odds more.
NoS - for the ball retrieval guy
Dump Off - might be very annoying in some situations.

Mighty Blow or Guard.

I'd go with pass. Undead is short on ball handling skills or even access to those skills. Go with pass.

You shouldn't be passing too much, and I recommend having two catch ghouls by the end game (Intercepts, catching, hand offs.) Therefore, I'm not sold on Pass. But Accurate would be nice.
Hail Mary Pass is always interesting to me... But not more so than Accurate.
Mighty Blow would be interesting... I guess if your league is elf heavy, it is a great choice.
Dump-Off has a lower chance of you keeping possession of the ball than if your player is simply blitzed and holds on to it! Side Step is my choice over Dump-Off, I feel it generally has the same effect (ball ends up loose, likely in a better overall position.)
