Are Deathrollers worth it?

I've filled up my Dwarf team roster and am at the point where I'm starting to accumulate some cash. In another game or so I could buy a Deathroller (160K), but have long been of the view that that's a lot of TV to tie up in a player you only get for one drive. Better to keep TV lower and be able to induce Star Players like Grim IronJaw and Zara, who can play for you all game. On the other hand, after months of fighting Trolls, Black Orcs, Snow Trolls, Mummies, Flesh Golums and the like, it would be nice to have something on the LOS that makes the other team wince a bit.
I'd be interested in hearing what other coaches' experience has been with Death Rollers? Good idea? Bad idea?

I think they work better as an Inducement for Dwarf teams just take them as a Merc.
In order to have them on the Roster you need to be able to hold a long drive (at least six turns) otherwise they will be sent off too quickly.

Yes they are a money sink, but I never play without them. In league plays and in Tournaments.
I think I have made an earlier post on the correct use on them. What is important that if you only have 12 players in total that you field him "allways" on turn 1. Even woodelfes can get you one player out, and then stal you to turn 7. So your deathroller have to been fielded for 2 turns at all. It is better to field him on turn one, and then try to break his scoring attemp, Break-Tackle and Re-Roll usage can break any cage. And if this doenst work then push him into a risky two or three Turner. when he has done that you have him in perfect Dwarven measures.
Use 6 turns to make the 1:1 and then the second half for the 2:1.
And if you have him on turn 1 receiving just play a very slow half to use him to bind 2 players at once, and blitz with him most of the time. Juggernaut will compensate for block, but make sure that after the Block you still bind at least 2 players, even if they are only zombies. The Rest of your team can then deal with his only 9 players.
So all in all I would take him into the team. And the real benefit is there if he someday might gain a skill.
Block, Dodge, Frenzy, Pro if you are lucky.
Guard as a standard
+1MV and you would jump in circles.

Dwarf TVs tend to be low so a Death Roller as part of a 12 or 13man squad is useful IMO.
And skilled ones are awesome.
