Underworld Creepers Advice

In the next Waterbowl Premier League season (TR100) , I am going to be giving the Creepers a runout. Having never played them before, I am unsure as to the best line-up. Should I go for high FF to steal rerolls or try and fill out my squad?
Here is the current line-up I am considering:
Warpstone Troll (110)
2 x Skaven Blitzer (180) - 290
2 x Skaven Thrower (140) - 430
2 x Skaven Linerat (100) - 530
5 x Goblin (200) - 730
3 x Reroll (210) - 940
1 x Apo (50) - 990
FF 1
What do you think? Obviously, as Darkson is the world's #1 Creepers coach, his advice would be prized

but all contributions welcome

Taking the 6 skaven is a must (as I found out to my cost when I used them in the MBBL), so I have no issues with the players you've picked. Personally, I'd not take the Apo at the start, and either stick the 50K on FF or take another Gobbo and go FF2. Depends on length of league - if it's long-term, I'd take the higher FF (as you shouldn't [in theory!] be winning a lot of games), short-term I'd take the 13th player.

Thats a problem
You have greater chance of loosing your FF when you loose games and thats not funny!
Get a 4th reroll, animosity will make you cry out loud!

I'm currently playing underworld in a league and I started with the same Cockerel.
But maybe you should go with higher FF instead of a Apo when fame is so great to have. So with high FF which will probably give you fame you will almost certainly afford a apo after your first game.
And don't do like I did, got a gobbo with -1AV after the first game, kept him for no reason really and never kicked him. Since then he earned a MVP and a cas and has now a skill.
Get rid of gobbos that sucks. Now I don't have the heart to fire him because he caused two kills and has a skill, but he really sucks with 6 AV.

Personally I'd look at dropping a thrower for another RR and look at getting that thrower fast, just depends how many games you are playing for. Same with the apoth although I wouldnt switch him for FF unless you plan to maintain it.

I'd be thinking along these lines but Leader as a first choice for the Skaven thrower might cancel this.

Thanks for the advice, guys

I think I might stick with my original line-up, but maybe change the apo. Not sure yet.
Skills wise, I am thinking of going down the full mutant line - a bunch of 2 headed/big handed players or maybe a mass of disturbing presence and foul appearance. Not the most successful choices, I know, but I love mutations as general skill

took the same formation as written, after many tries,
got a lucky 1st match against vampires
got 2 skills:
a wrestle for a linerat
extra arms for a thrower...
and bought 2 gobbos
this evening I will see how it works

Wow, you did well, Giorss. My first game (vs humans) saw me go down to a narrow 2-1 defeat, although a combination of pouring rain and a wonderful 3d against goblin blitz vs the opposing thrower (both down/pow, both down/pow, both down/pow) nearly saw me hold of for a draw. On the downside, my troll was killed outright on his debut

My TD scoring blitzer did get a skill though (horns - we are trialling LRB 6).
For game 2, I am at TR 88 vs Lucifer's TR100 Slann

I am thinking about using Fezglitch and his ball and chain.

Although my team put up a good fight against Geoff, going down 2-0 in the end (would have been 2-1 had my thrower had his proper shoes on and avoided falling on his face when in sight of the endzone

), I have lost another player to a serious case of death (the other thrower met his maker in a block at the end of the game. Is that why they call it 'at the
death
?). The team are really good fun to play, but I wish I had taken the apo instead of higher FF.
Currently, I have enough in the bank to buy said apo (60k, in fact) but I am torn between buying the apo and potentially saving some other key positionals - or holding on to the cash and buying another troll so I can get a LOS presence (and if I buy the apo now, it will probably take me another 3-4 games to afford the troll - which be a fair way into the league). What do you think?
Currently my team for game 3 is:
2 x skaven blitzer (1 with horns - we are trialling LRB 6 and new horns has been great

)
1 x skaven thrower
2 x skaven linerat
5 x gobbo
1 x journeyman gobbo (2 gobbos miss this game - 1 of whom has -1 AG)
FF 5
RR 3
Oh, I induced Fezglitch for game 2 - he was good! 80k for ball & chain, D Presence & FA - well worth it.
Will probably go the same route in game 3, depending on how much I have to spend. My opponent is using skaven and will probably get a few TR points in his outing before we play.

I'd buy the apoth.
No sense losing other players while saving up for the bigger one. It'll save you money and hassle in the end.
