dark elf tourney team

Hey guys was wondering on what your thoughts for a dark elf tourney team the rules are lrb 5 1.1 mil and progression with choose mvp.

i was thinking
4 blitzers
apoth
1 runner
and thats about as far as i get

soo hard to decide if i want witches or an assassin

Tourney with progression and choose MVP? Does it have resurrection? If resurrection, Apo unnecessary. No resurrection, then surely you'll also be gaining cash per game if you have normal progression so you can buy the Apo later. Either way, don't start with it if you can have a reroll or a player instead.

Here's what I'd take for 1.1M:
4x Blitzers
1x Witch Elf
7x Linemen
2x Rerolls

Don't need an Apo if you have resurrection OR can buy Apo later AND have a reserve lineman in the bag. Spare lineman is always useful; Apo, not so much. This squad lets you hit hard, you're only sweating one AV7 player, and all your MV7 critters can be blodgers in a real hurry. DEs in short development don't need a Runner to develop as a Thrower because their passing game tends to be Short/Long rather than Long/Bomb and AG4 is just fine in that range with the occasional team reroll.

If you CAN buy stuff later on, then consider scrapping the WE for 2 rerolls and playing with a squad of 11. I play my DEs conservative and am fine with no more than 2-3 rerolls, but I'm counting on you picking up Leader after a couple games for a 3rd reroll. Alternatively, start with only 11 players but bank 4 rerolls. I find it hard for DEs to need/use more than 4 rerolls.

Block on WE, Block on WE,

Then its up to you.... Leader or NoS of Runner, Dodge on Blitzers, Kick or Block on Line.

Defo WEs over assasins.
