LRB4 Vampire Team, Two Questions

Firstly, I have played two games with a Vampire Team under LRB4. After the first game one of my Vamps picked up his first skill, I selected Block. He then rolled Snake Eyes for the Ageing Roll. The result was -1AV.

I appreciate that this would make him a bit of a liability in the long term. However, due to a cruel twist of fate, or Nuffle's weird sense of humour, he received the MVP again after game two.

He's now one TD shy of getting his second skill which will be Dodge.

My heart wants to keep him on the team. My head says fire him as soon as I have enough cash to buy a new Vamp.

What do you guys think I should do?

Secondly, I have been ball handling and scoring with the Vamps. My plan is to do this until both Vamps have Blodge and then concentrate on skilling up the Thralls.

Is this worthwhile or should I concentrate on getting a few skills on the Thralls first?

I was going to reply that whatever you do, you'll just fail horribly. Then I looked at your matches, both of which have been wins!

Honestly, I don't know. My gut feeling is that the vamps are the stars and should be the target of all development plans. I think that having say 4 skilled (say, 4 Dirty Players) thralls would be worthwhile, as you can keep them out of harms way to some extent.

I've tried two vamp teams on Fumbbl so far and both tries have ended in tears and dead vampires, so I'm really not the right person to give advice. I'm going to watch your two wins to learn something.

I have just played my third game with them which I also won.

My first Thrall to get a skill was given Kick and then rolled, you guessed it, Snake Eyes for the ageing roll and picked up a Niggling Injury. :puke:
I tell you now that the lame b'std is off the Team the minute I get another 'kicker'.

On the plus side another Thrall got +1 Str :D

My -1 AV Vamp is now a Blodger. I have decided to keep him for now.

I am fairly new to Vamps. If you really want to learn about them, I'd read stuff posted by Sillysod on here and Fumbbl. He knows Vamps inside out.
