Hi guys ive only recently returned to blood bowl as my club is starting up their league again. In the past ive used undead and orcs to great success, but this time im looking for a change of tact?
Im going to try a high elf team, but im making the models from scratch because i dont like the skirt wearing linemen! Guardians and spearmen are the way forward!
The line up im looking at starting with is the following:
2 Blitzers
2 Catchers
1 Thrower
6 Linemen
2 RR
1 FF
Any help and advice is much appriciated

Well the obvious, if you get doubles on a Lineman, Guard!
Getting Kick on a lineman is important.
If both blitzers get doubles I would not suggest Mighty Blow for both.
Sorry no time to write my full advice.
For your one thrower, I would rotate him with the lineman until each lineman gets its first skill.
First normal roll for the Thrower would be Accurate.
First thing to do with the money is buy an APO then 2 more Catchers.
Catchers are awesome.

2x Thrower
7x Lineman
2x Catcher
3x Reroll
This is my starting team in a TV100 rookie league. Catcher will get Dodge first, one thrower with Sure Hands, the other with Leader, Linemen mix between Block, Dodge, Wrestle and a Kicker.
Going to buy an apothecary and then two Blitzers.

I like Stashman's roster, but with 1 Thrower and 3 Catchers. If you're sold on Blitzers, take the roster you put up: it's not bad.
Blitzers should get Side Step, then Dodge. The first lino should get Kick, and the rest Side Step. After that, a combination of Wrestle, Dodge and Block.
That's my 2ยข.
