First skill for my Gutter Runner

Hi a;;-

I got 3 GR' on my team...on has MA plus one so MA 10! The other just got a new skill result. I am thinking of giving him block, so that he can "skate" around the backfield a bit more..

Any other suggestions?

Block is good or sure hands.

Block - it helps protect one of your most valuable players from adverse blocking results and means you can easily frustrate teams without tackle. It also makes the 1/2 die or 1 die block a lot less risky.

Has to be Block, his agility negates the need for catch, or Sure hands.
Normally i'll give themblock as a starting skill, unless i get a double or stat increase

I have to say Leap is also a good choice for a gutter runner.

Unless they roll a double or a stat increase I always give gutter runners block as a first skill. I can't think of a single skill that's more useful to a starting gutter runner. Once a GR has blodge he can start on his long career of marking throwers and making long-range emergency blitzes.
