Hi guys! This is my first post in here.

I'm from italy and we just startet a new league with 6 Players (Orks, Dwarfs, Wood Elves, Norse, Undead and Humans - me). We are planing to play double round robin (with 2 second halfs of the season), so that menas, that everyone plays 4 times versus each others team. We also plan to do tournament between each round...

For now i have played 4 games (everyone except Undead) und won 3 time (lost vs. Orcs...).

I'm not new to Blood Bowl, but I see now, that facing the part "mastering the game" is quite hard.

So I have to make plans, how to develope my team in the future.

Here is my team so far...

What should I do next? In the other Forums, everyone tells my, to use 4 Catchers and to build ott-Players with them (Side-Step, Sure Feet, Sprint)...

What do you say?

This is my plan so far:

Catcher: Sidestep, Leap, Sure Feet, Sprint
Thrower: Accurate, Kick off return, Kick, Block
Lineman: Block, Leader
Ogre: Grab, Breack Tackle
Blitzer: Migthy Blow, Tackle, Strip Ball

And one more question: where can I find tactical manuals (Block chains and so far?) for playing Blood Bowl?

Thx alot

ok not a good idea

first off humans have cheap rerolls and lots of skill rerolls, taking leader is a waste, especially as a double skill on a lineman

Catchers, block first then sidestep, diving tackle and shadowing are far more useful than trying to build a one turner

Thrower, accurate, block (strong arm or guard on doubles), safe throw

Lineman, block, tackle, couple with wrestle, fend if you get that far (guard on doubles) also get one with kick, usually my first skill for a the first lineman to skill up

Ogre, guard, break tackle, grab/standfirm

Blitzers, guard, stripball/tackle, dodge on doubles

get one blitzer with juggernaut, frenzy

all those skills will work much better in coordination with the other players on the team

one turn catchers are useless on defence, turning the ball over and scoring when you have kicked means you won't be needing to do one turn touchdowns

Would just like to point out that your Ogre has block, which is a doubles skill, and thus it's +30k team value not 20k.

Agree with Grum on skill choices with two additions.

Humans linos with Block and Dauntless are quite useful.

Stand Firm on your Frenzy Blitzer give shim some defense against a retaliatory crowd push.
