How to resurect a for fun Undead Team

So I played in a league for the fun of it with 15 skeletons and 7 RR.

I won some games mostly I just lost. The new season is starting up and I'm left with a problem.

I want to keep playing the team but my research into it shows me skeletons really have no place in an undead team. When I made the play offs I picked up a bunch of real players since I had 800,000 in the bank. Now I'm left with do I drop the real players and go back to skeletons, drop the skeletons and make it a real Undead team, or do I just play it in the new season with the skills chosen based on me being all skeleton and a stupidly high team raiting of 188

Here is what I have now
Wight Sure Hands
Wight
Mummy Guard
Mummy
Goul
Skeleton 3AG Block
Skeleton 3AG
Skeleton Block
Skeleton Dodge
Skeleton Block, Dodge
Skeleton Block, Dodge, (Generic not Selected)
Skeleton Block, Tackle, (Generic not Selected)
Skeleton Block, Dirty Player
Skeleton Guard
Zombie Block
Zombie Block

350,000 still in the bank.

That's a really solid lineup. Go with it! As skeletons die you can put the missing ghouls on the team.

You have a lot of Dodge skeletons there. That one with just Dodge is a possible candidate for firing, as the Ghoul costs the same and has much better use in the team. Also, you can safely dump a few rerolls to reduce team value. Three is enough.

It was a very fun way to start a team, I did it for the fun of it to mimic the Champions of Death Start up story of just skeletons.

Because I had only skeletons I found my SPP scattered around allowing many of them to get skills. When I bought the positionals I dropped almost all the skeletons who had only 1 basic skill and keeping all the ones with something interesting. I also ditched all the ones with stat loss.

When the average game allowed me to replace a skeleton or 2 with winnings, I found it easy to cycle out the skeletons who got to 6 points and rolled nothing interesting.

The odd thing is once a skeleton got 3 ag, he seemed doomed to stop earning points. Hence why my new wight has a some what odd skill of sure hands.

In either case Alot of those skeletons were my old stars, its somewhat difficult to play the team now that I have real players. Its just hard to see my favorite player sitting in the reserve box for a no skill mummy.

One option I was thinking about was to drop the 2 zombies and 3 skeletons who never rolled doubles for 3 gouls and slight drop in team rating.

Actually, those +Ag skellies are really bloating your team rating....

Mmm, they are, you've basically got a -2MA, dodgeless ghoul (albeit one with regen') for the same price.

More. Skellie +AG is 80k these days. Still, Regen/Thick Skull/Block/3AG isn't too bad. The one with just 3AG could go, and the one with just Dodge. I'd flip a coin about the Block guy, I might keep him until I had another Blodge Ghoul.

I'd ditch the Dodge Skellie and/or the 3AG Skellie, unless they're about to skill. In that case, see what they get before you fire them. Hire Ghouls to account for it.

Who says you always have to field the mummies?

Well if I ever go back to just Skeletons, I'll need those 3AG guys.

If I'm going to go 100% real team then yes they have no place.
