Help with a Theme Skeleton Team
Ok, I have 16 cool looking skeleton models I've converted up from plastic skeletons and green stuff. Got some painting touch up to do, and finish a few models, then I'll post images in the model section.
In the mean time. I'm trying to figure out how to best play them. As in Undead or Khemri.
I've got 2 converted to look like throwers
I've got 2 converted to look like blitzers
I've got 4 converted to look like catchers
I've got 8 converted to look like lineman.
I played 1 league with them already as 15 skeleton and 7 rerolls (30k skeletons) by the end of the league the skeleton had some fun skills like dodge, and guard, and ag +1 guys, I had fun and want to do it again only with more chance to win. This is based on an undead team because I was worried I would bore of the concept, but the models were so Cool it was only the thought of not using some for zombies and gouls that I didn't care for.
In my model theme...
I've got a conversion for skeletons to look like mummies/tomb guardians.
I've got a conversion for skeleton wights.
I can use the above catchers as gouls, if that isn't too lame to do.
Or... I can just run the skeleton in an all 14 skeleton team, though losing every single game doesn't appeal to me as much as using my models.
I also have a cool goul conversion I can use if I want to avoid explanations if the all skeleton idea is too stupid.
I've seen a lot of great suggestions on here for clever ideas, so I thought I would ask... How would you run an all skeleton team.
I was thinking Khemri with 1 throw-ra, 2 blitzras 10 skeleton and 5 rerolls.
Or continue my undead team with either "count as" or just 2 wights and 12 skeletons.

If you can green stuff 4 of the skellies to look more bulky, you could use them as mummies/tomb guardians as well. You'll then have an all skeleton team that plays with all its positionals.
The conversion doesn't have to be too complicated: put the mummies on a 40mm base and just make 'em look a bit more powerful than the blitzers with bigger limbs (heat the middle of a plastic bone, pull it longer and putty up the thinned middle to make it bulkier).
Failing that, give the mummies special hats
