Frenzying Saurus with double: what to take?

As the title reads: what to take on my Saurus?
For your info, the rest of the team:
Krox (Block, Guard, Grab)
Saurus (Break tackle, Guard)
Saurus (Block, Guard)
Saurus (Break tackle, Wrestle, Strip ball, Pro)
Saurus (Block, Mighty blow, Tackle)
Saurus (Block, Tackle)
Skinks (expendable)
What do you suggest? My first thoughts go to Side step.
Cheers!

I really do not see the point of giving SS to someone who can take SF on a normal, it's a waste of TR really. Dodge + BT shouldn't be overlooked, DT is devastating on St 2 players, ST 4 is so much more!!
Leader and Jump Up have a lot of merit to consider. Even on a Frenzy player.
Definately not SS though, that's for your Skinks.

dodge or ignore it and go either block/break tackle

Can't imagine I'm the only person to disagree with you here.
Reasons:
Juggernaut more common than Grab.
He's got Frenzy so setting up your position for his own block/blitz is very valuable. And he is likely to be playing in the wide zones.
The unpredictability often unnerves opposing coaches.
All of this, of course, assumes you're not in a PBEM league...
P.S. I'm a pedant, so you think it would be a waste of TV not TR.
But I don't.

it is a waste of TV and a doubles roll ;]
not just a case of sidestep vs standfirm as how they operate

See, that's more precise.
Doesn't that make everyone feel better!
As to the sentiment, I'm not convinced.
I think I'd take Side Step if I were using the double.
He's already got 2 BT Saurus, one of which optimised at ball hunting.
I don't know how tricked out he is for DT with his skinks.
DT is tempting for me if he is short of it.
Although, we don't know if it's got Block yet. c
Could be worth forgoing the double for an essential skill on a ST4 Frenzy player who is slow to skill up.

Sidestep is a lot more dangerous on a S4 Frenzy player than Stand Firm. On the sidelines he's basically going to be untouchable because of the risk of him setting up a crowd surf. I'd take it.

I agree with those in favour of Sidestep. It's awesome on a Frenzied ST4 player. As already said, mainly this is to set up evil blocks near the sideline.
Another consideration is that Stand Firm does not always protect from crowd-surfing, since it can be negated by Juggernaut (if adjacent to the sideline) and Juggernaut/Frenzy (if one square away from the sideline). Sidestep, although it can be partly negated by Grab (and totally negated by lots of tackle zones), provides much better protection in practice, especially as a player with it is likely to be one or two squares away from the sideline, rather than next to it. Frenzy/Grab is a disallowed combination, so a player with Sidestep is much safer than a player with Stand Firm.
Hope this helps.
