Help for new player aid idea

So, I was going through my boxes of team miniatures I got years ago and the cardstock figures that came with my First Edition Blood Bowl. Yes, I go back that far! Anyway, I was thinking of making easy to use team reference cards like the human and orc ones that come in the Third Edition. This way I might be able to get my reluctant friends to play, as most everything they need to know is on the card.

I started by recreating the human and orc cards, correction the errors that are on them (mainly just the orc card). Then I started making one for the Grudgebearers team when I ran into a problem. That boxed set, as you may or may not know, comes with 6 Blockers, 2 Runners, 2 Blitzers, and 2 Trollslayers. Adding up their cost comes to 920,000 gp. The question is, do I then give them 2 team re-rolls and a FF of 0, or do I do something else? I do not have other figures to add to them, nor can I afford them (being unemployed and all). So, what would you folks suggest?

I also have 3 other metal teams: Athelorn Avengers, The Marauders, and Galadrieth Gladiators. Any thoughts on those teams would be appreciated. Once I am done with those I am going to come up with some alternate human and orc teams using the Second Edition minis that came with the main set.

in all honesty I start most teams with a max of 11 players and more rerolls due to the double cost of rerolls after team creation

so i wouldn't worry about not starting dwarfs with more than 12 players, that is one too many imo and you can easily swap one longbeard for a 3rd reroll

there should be starting rosters for most the teams on here if you do a search though, others may respond in time as well

Hey mr. Miller :)
You're back, or have you just been lurking.

Did you ever finish those star player cards?
I seem to recall that you didn't get all the pics?

Anyway, LRB5+ is now out, with a few tweaks and more importantly with a several new star players.
Do you plan on adding those to your cards?
Please? :D

As for your question, what are you looking for?
Are you looking for rosters that could work as starting rosters in a league, or rosters optimized for 1-off games? 'Cause there's a difference.

For league starting rosters, you could look here:

I have been away for quite awhile due to health issues, unemployment, and family emergencies. Been lurking for about a week or two. 8)
As for the cards, I think I got most of them done. I will look and see what I have, and add the new stuff to them. I will start a new thread and ask about pictures for the new star players. Oh, and please, call me Stephen. I may be getting older, but Mr. Miller was my father, not me.

I am looking for teams primarily for one shot games, I think. I am not sure if I can get people to play more than once or twice, at least not on a consistent basis. They also have to be limited to the figures I own or can get/make for free.

Hi Stephen,
I look forward to seeing your work with the remaining start.

OK, so it's one-off games, meaning usually no apothecary, and perhaps rerolls not prioritized as highly, because you're not really saving anything by "getting them while they're cheap". On anything but the toughest sides, a 12th player will probably be a high priority.

Even so, the link I posted might provide a good starting point.

Could also be interesting to consider if any spare coach should go towards FF, cheerleaders or coaches - depending on the character of the race in question.

So - need anything besides dwarfs?
For dwarfs, I think 11 players is OK.
5 linedwarfs 350K
2 slayers 530K
2 blitzers 690K
2 runner 850K
3 ReRolls 1000K

Cheers
