Second game for a High Elf team

2 blitzers 1 thrower 8 linos one with kick 3 rr 100k in the bank

both blitzers skilled up atfer game 2, one rolled normal the other rolled 6+4

what is the merit of taking the movement when I can get 4 catchers who move 8, especially early on in team development when I could do with other skills

what would you take on the other blitzer, look at dodge probably or perhaps strip ball

very tempted to ignore the movement, thought I would ask for opinion on here and reasons why you think your opinion

Agree. Skip +MA on this player in this spot. Skill or +AV, depending on what you use him for and how many games you intend to play. If you'll build the team to high level and plan on putting him at the corner or inside backer spots, the +AV is a good bet. But next week it's not necessarily your best bet.

I would go with the skill. One blitzer should get dodge and the other leap. The sooner you get a cage breaker the better. Defence is the hard part when playing elves.

I agree, no +MA, although it might help a lot until you get 2 catchers. Concentrate on Leap, Frenzy, or Dodge, a skill you will want for a long time. +AV is interesting, and I take it on all my High Elf linemen. Not on the blitzer though... I think it would be a relative waste.

I would say no to the AV and probably say no to the Movement, though I love MA.

Go skill its what you need.

With a Pro-Elf team (not the same, I know), I took +MA on a Blitzer as his first skill, and never regretted it.

+AV

When he gets Leap and don't land on his feet, AV9 will be alot better, even when he gets fouled (roll 10 or more, greater chance for opponent to be ejected from game)
