The 3-man symmetrical ST3 defensive line poll

Which do you tend to use on all-ST3 teams? Does it vary from team to team? If so, how? If you use one of these setups more than half the time, mark A, B or C. If you alternate between two, mark D, E or F, and if you like drop a post about which you do when. If you don't use one or two of these setups at least most of the time, mark G or H. Assume two teams at/near 11 players.
I marked A, 'cause that's usually what I do, even with a high ST team. I do occasionally use B for switch-ups, especially if I have an elf team with lots of Side Step, even moreso if I have to face a lot of Frenzy.

So 7 of the first 13 posters say "sometimes A, sometimes B." Which when, and why?

I do C most of the time with defense on the wings. It forces your opponent down the center, which means most if not all your guys can get to their's.

I do B or C depending about what team I'm playing against. No more that three free blocks and then I have "strong" back defense. I don't like fight in middle of a field so I minimize my players there and contrate them somewhere else.
If I don't get 11 players to kick-off I change my defense pattern to asymmetric.

If I'm all ST3, I tend to go -XX-XX- (so voted "H")

where is the sometimes A, Sometimes B, sometimes C option??
Normally it's A or B...depends on my mood alot of the time. But I use C occasionally just as a wrinkle.
A is used more as I get more Guards
B is used to spread it out a bit or to try and throw a wrench in the 1 turn score by pushing my players forward tactic (C is used for this as well..I haven't really found a great way to stop this tactic yet, and it mainly revolves around where I place my players in the Backfield)

C seems needlessly dangerous, as they really only have to set their best blocker to take out the middle lineman, and they then have a 3-wide lane to drive through and cage up deeper into your half than they really should on turn #1.
In BB, a 3-wide lane might as well be the autobahn to TD-ville.

@xeterog (nice backwards phrasing): try Stand Firm on the LOS: no more chainpush-driven 1TTDs.
@Funksultan: Yeah, C scares me too.

a if I want to protect them by putting a big guy or assassin behind them and c if I want to stretch his players out a bit.

It totally depends on the opponent.
C is suicide against most cagers but as part of a 5-5-1 against agility teams it is golden.
A might be good if you have a lot of Frenzy players and want to force you opponent to the sidelines.

Against most Bashy teams I would probably go with the Ulrika’s Valley Defence, but against fast agile teams I found setting a Shatners Bassoon formation helps.
To be honest against most teams, you cant go too wrong with a Standard Charlie Brown!

Do many bash teams really want to pound up the pitch that quickly? IME most are more interested in 8 turn drives to cause maximum pain and control the clock. So offering a quick TD as a flair team can be a way to get bodies back onto the pitch (extra KO rolls) and a chance to score more yourself. Also quick TDs tend to be risky TDs so by spreading their team more you often create more opportunities to get to the ball.
Normally I'll use A. Sometimes I'll go C - generally if I want to spread the play or they've given me good reason to spread (e.g. multiple block players). When you are flair C can also be handy to minimise the impact of the odd tentacle, diving tackle or p. tail player.

I always used the Winston J. Podmore stance until the Siberian Counter showed me the blindside weaknesses.
the variety of the Carthagian Strong line gives me some wiggle room against tough opponents.
