Second Double Skill on a Zombie?

Post by Marlow »

Salutations Readers,

One of my Zombies keeps getting the MVP (six now) so skilled up again. He has Block, Guard & -AG at the moment. In game he is mostly used for Guard support and throws a few blocks.

Trying to decide between?
* Sidestep to make Guard better
* Mighty Blow to cause more damage
* Dodge so he stays on his feet
* Tackle as my other Tackle players died (but replacements should skill up again soon)

Team is here -

Any suggestions?

I'm with Sann. Funky PBEM rules call for Stand Firm. Playing the right way, I'd say Side Step.

That would be the reasoning behind either selection, yes. The math works nicely with Dodge and it would only be a mistake if you're a Dwarf-magnet.

Agreed.... Would only pick dodge over stand firm to keep on my feet more.... Pity one can't expect a THIRD double.... (SIX MVPs?! )

i would have gone for side step, to insinuate into cages, even down, he get inside the cage, stand up and then a werewolf can blitz a corner to dispatch all the box arround. To prevent this the opponent will have to foul him, and most opponent will not use their foul action for a zombie.

Sadly, in many PBEM games Side Step is defined by the game format rather than the rulebook. Either it's a random square, or you nominate the square on your turn. Either way it's a pale shadow of its tabletop self. I'd tell you that's why I don't play PBEM, but I don't play the Cyanide game either, so that's not it.
