Nurgle - skill on the fourth Pest

So I've got my Nurgle Team in my league. Record is 5-0-0 with a 10-3 ratio on TD's and have caused 7 casualties.

My pestigors all have one skill. I have two with block, one of which needs two more skill points for his second skill. Another is agility 4.

The fourth and final one just skilled up this game so now the question is, what skill should i give him?

I'm between strip ball, frenzy, and dodge (he rolled doubles).

Strip ball is necessary to get that damned ball loose! Frenzy applies on the good old block and gives me an even better of chance of knocking it loose - or failing miserably. Dodge is, well it's dodge.

What do you all think?

Dodge or Side Step. Strip Ball is a #2 skill after Block.

I like Wrestle on Pestigors (for popping the ball loose). Have you considered it?

I'd be tempted to give him Leader.

Leader's not a bad choice.

I have thought about it, but without Jump Up as a back up I'd be far too worried to use the skill. With nurgle every bit of movement is at such a premium, to willing put a key player down just doesn't sit right.

I should also mention that I have two rotters equipped with Wrestle! Completely slipped my mind!

Leaders a great skill, but far more appropriate for a rotter in my opinion. With only four Pestigors i feel like I need to make every skill choice count. And with two blockers being constructed, and having a ball handler it gives me the opportunity to have a bit more leeway with my players - letting me make one of my attackers. I've had fantastic luck with strip ball and firmly believe in the skill, obviously more than others. Frenzy is something I haven't really used since I've played Norse in LRB 3.0 so the temptation is great for that, plus as it compliments horns it'd be a handy little thing to have. But on the other side I could always give that skill to my other pest who is 2 spp away from his second skill. But building a frezny/strip ball pestigor could be quite handy.

Diving Tackle to mark the weak!

I would be very tempted to ignore the doubles and go with one of the folowing:

* Block - the petigors are your main movers of the ball and giving them every opportunity to remain standing is a bonus. this also gives him the opportunity to be a blitzer in a pinch.

* - Dodge - for many of the reaons mentioned above. Who knows if you will roll doubles again, this will make you more survivable and help you to get those TDs.

* - Side Step - a nightmarish skill to have to deal with!

* - Diving Tackle would be fun, but rfeally more effective after you have block or Side Step

* - Extra Arms - this gives you some ball handling skills and may even open a passing game with your AG 4 pestigor

Strip Ball and Frenzy would be skills to choose after you took block (or possible Wrestle in the case of Strip Ball)

Indeed, but how often do you roll doubles?

Dodge is good, but only seems to work IMO if you have (or plan to have) lots of players with Dodge on the team. If you have just one or two players with Dodge, they will get marked/blocked/blitzed by your opponent's Tacklers.

Sidestep is my first doubles choice on most Pestigors, to be followed by Jump Up on a second double (my first and second normal skill choices are Wrestle, Fend).

Hope this helps.

Side Step (Then Frenzy)

or

Diving Tackle (Then Stand Firm)

Leader for Warriors and I wouldn't tak Dodge on a team that is never going to have high numbers of it.
