How do I play this thrower now?

Ok, long story short I've wound up with a Norse thrower with dodge and Str4.
If it matters the rest of the team, after having taken some bruising over their games, is:
Zerker Mighty Blow
Runner Dodge
Runner
Ulf
8 linemen (one of which will be missing the next game)
2 RR (Too few I know, this was my first team, I'm saving for another).
4 FF
APO
I'm just not sure how to play the guy. He's an STR4 blodger, which is nice and could see using him up close and personal with the other team. On the other hand he's still AV7 and a solid ball carrier, should I hold him back and use them more like a typical thrower, but one that's a lot harder for a wardancer to go after?
I like the idea of eventually having three (or more) Str4 players on the team, just not sure what to do with them for now.

I'd probably still use him as a ballcarrier on offence, in defence you can use him in variable ways..
The other option is make him a blocker with leader/tackle & giving SH to a runner.. (for the +MA).

Have him carry the ball down near the endzone and either Quick Pass or Handoff to someone that needs SPP and let that person score.

What an SPP machine. Use him to get the ball, move up into a key coverage spot and pass/handoff to the carrier. Because he has Dodge, your opponent can't chump-mark him, so he will frequently be available to take a handoff as a TD outlet or a passing conduit. When he eventually hits 31 (he will...), give him either SH or NOS, and the other one at 51. SH is probably the better skill as such, but ST4/Blodge/NOS is just unfair: you can hand off to him in coverage and he can blitz into the clear, or run up to mark a guy and lateral the ball to a Runner or Lino.

Had a ST4 High Elf Thrower once. He was extremely useful on both offense and defense. Had to change the style of play, though, of course. I made him the ball carrier, with passing options. That worked well. On offense he was a good linebreaker. On defense he was good at bringing down high ST players.
Hope this helps.

GET SURE HANDS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Then you have the PERFECT Running back.
After that Kick Off Return.

So it seems nobody thinks accurate is a good way to go with this fellow.
Use them as a primary ball carrier on offense (though try to spread out the SPPs when possible).
Do use them on defense. Maybe for things like marking lone S3 players?

I really don't like completely re-molding a character based on one increase.
Sure he's ST4, but he's still your thrower.
I would use him as a (very) strong safety on defense and as the primary pick-up, hand off/outlet pass on offense.
To me, Accurate makes sense as would Tackle (to take down what gets through the line). He's not going to shore up the line himself and at AV7, I wouldn't want him getting killed because you threw him into the middle of things.

Accurate would be a good #4 skill in lieu of Nerves (doesn't work to receive handoffs from the cage-front, but lets you make throws from the open at +1). But get Sure Hands next.

this player have served me very very well as an ball carrier on offence.
As others have said, he takes the ball, holds it (wardancers and the like are welcome to try that lameass leap into the cage and hit him) then handoff/quick pass if I have RR left for it to a player who can score.
