Should I sack these players?

The team is reasonably new with a few guards, 12 players and plenty of cash. Given that they haven't yet skilled, I'm tempted to get rid of them. Their injuries aren't too bad, but they are still injuries and they therefore will be less good than a rookie. They only thing that is stopping me is that they have earned some SPPs and are a CAS (or two) or a MVP away from skilling up.

If you can replace him, I'd sack the -MA guy. Movement three will get him up, but he can't get to his mark if he's on marking duty.
I would not be too worried about the niggle on an AV9 player. With any luck your opponents will think differently and target him instead of runners and troll slayers though.

1: Yes
2: Check if he rolls doubles (for sidestep or diving tackle) first skill, if not -> then sack. Niggles is a minor nuisance, but it's also a low opportunity cost to sack a 6spp player at 70k.

Somehow I can't vote on this new site. And you don't have a "neither" category.
1: Hire a guy and replace him. Treat him as a reserve until you can hire his replacement. If he skills before you get his replacement, give him Stand Firm and then don't bother replacing him.
2: Nah. Let him play. Niggle isn't a big deal on AV9, and it's the kind of thing that tends to take care of itself, if you know what I mean.

As the other have said - NIs aren't that bad when you have good armour, and dwarves are already slow enough.
