Hi all,
I've had a quick look on search but can't find that many posts giving advice about pogos. Are they worth taking and what skills are best used on them? I'm toying with the idea of buying one as a replacement for a next death/retirement.

Never used to when they were SWs, but now. Essential part of a gobbo team!
As for skills, as usual you are praying for doubles like all Gobbos.

I have to agree with Grogmir. You get a gobin with +1 MA, Leap, and VLL for only 70k - that's the price of a stock goblin with 1.5 normal skills. How you can go wrong? That becomes your most mobile player and be skilled towards scoring, cage breaking, etc. as he goes (as with all Goblins, if he survives!).

Thanks for the replies. I had a feeling he would be worth taking but wanted the views of people who know the game better. The 2nd Ed pogos are also really nice models, that alone was tempting me to use one.

Re: To add the pogo on the s(hopping) list?
The Pogo is outstanding, and for me is the natural ball carrier on the team. MA7 may not sound like much, but it is hugely better than MA6. The option to leap on a 3+ can also help him get out of trouble.
I have just started a Gobbo team and plan to give the Pogo Sure Feet and Sprint (to re-inforce his extra mobility). On a doubles roll: Sure Hands. Obviously any stat increase (ST, AG, MA) would be great on this player.
