I've created a monster...
My PSP WE Wardancer turned out to be a superstar: He's got the following skills/stat increases: +1 Str, Side Step, Tackle and +1 Ag.
What do you think i should skill on the next normal/double roll?
I've heard many times, Frenzy would be a good choice for cage-busting, but isn't there a big chance to get to deep in the cage and lose the str-advantage and get him bashed? The consequence would be lots of 2nd 1D blocks. I would need much more rr's...
Is MB the pick of the bunch on a double?
Thanks in advance!

Frenzy is good just for normal play, as it forces your opponent away from the sidelines. There is nowhere a Wardancer can't get.
But for cage breaking the trick is to go in for a half or one dice block looking for a push. Then on the second block if you get him down (Guard can make it 2D) the ball is loose with no TZs on it. Or else a push could get the player next to one of your other players for a block.

I would go for strip ball or juggs. I would also consider +1AV or +1MA if you get a double 5.

Frenzy + ST4 + Side Step + Leap on a 2 = DOOM! DOOM DOOM DOOM! Your opponent will have to cede the wide zones!

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

In tabletop BB, I would consider Fend as the next normal roll (to protect against Frenzy and Piling On).

Exactly! I once had a MA 9 STR 4 Frenzy Wardancer. Probably the best player I ever had.mattgslater wrote:Frenzy + ST4 + Side Step + Leap on a 2 = DOOM! DOOM DOOM DOOM! Your opponent will have to cede the wide zones!
Definately don't take Strip Ball. On a star player like this you don't want to take a skill that is offset by a skill almost every team will have eventually. Strip Ball should go on the other WD, with STR 4 you've probably got 2 dice so you should focus on putting your block targets on their asses (or in the crowd ) instead.

I find that frenzy on a "normal" WD is entirely worth it. On a ST3 AG4 WD you have to carefully consider your crowdpush tricks though, since it requires both the risk of the 3+ leap and the investment of resources (assists). A ST4 AG5 WD doesn't have these weaknesses and was truly built for frenzy.
If your opponent gives up the wide zones, then you basically control the pitch and will have a field day with WE. If he doesn't then you have the perfect weapon to teach him why he really has no choice. This is much, much stronger than mighty blow (which would merely be good).
