In what order to develop a ST5 Nurgle Warrior?

I post this separately to the lovely main Nurgle thread running at the moment, as it is a very specific question. My Nurgle team, Poetry in Motion, has been blessed with ridiculously good development. After 6 games the roster is:

(For any aspiring Nurgle coaches out there, let me state categorically that I have never seen a Nurgle team develop in this way, let alone after just 6 games. It is very much the exception, not the rule.)

My question to you all is: what skills should I give the Nurgle Warrior with +1ST, and (more importantly) in what order? My inclination is to give him Tentacles first, followed by Block, Stand Firm, to create a second Beast. However, other paths are obviously possible, for example starting with Block. I have had a +1ST Warrior before, but he never made it to his second skill. This one, I suspect, is more likely to, given the accelerated development of his colleagues.

Depends on how heavy the teams you face are. Block or Tentacles next, that's for sure.

I would go Block and then tentacles.

For what it's worth, I'd go block for more effective blocking, and rub my hands in anticipation of tentacles next.

With my limited experience I'd take Tentacles first, especially if there's lots of agile teams in the league. Tentacles is a "Nurgle" skill and surely helps with the passive aspect of defence much more than Block. You have the other warriors for blocking.

I totally agree with the short league / long league answer. I myself answer out from my own situation, where we play a "free tournament" (meaning we can play as many matches as we want, as long as the team is not in the fixed series) in addition to the fixed series (two each year) where we play after a schedule with no other matches in between.

I'm in my 6th game with a new nurgle team and you are not kidding when you say those results are atypical. I wish I had half of your SPPs.

I'd go Tentacles. I'm learning a lot from the other nurgle thread and I think that if you can can focus on the passive skills, at least at the beginning, it really helps. Of course, my record with them is 1-2-3.
