Even more important to take 6 as Pearlies skills are assigned randomly.

The less you have, the more snotlings you are going to have getting skills ;]

Yes, but you have 6x Mighty Blow. You may have numbers problems, but statistically you shouldn't be the only one....

Here are two halves of different defenses built on the same line structure.

I'm not convinced on the wings: the right wing is vs. speed, and the left wing is vs. slow. This is a front for use vs. a speedy ST3 team. With no ST4, it's impossible to blitz the Ogre midfielders at 1d, and without pushing them or moving a Guard player and having another one, it's impossible to block 1d on the line. Even then, one Guard ogre will make it impossible again.

I think your original roster is best for the task.

Ideally you'd have 6 ogres so they were more likely to get skills. However, I dont think that those skills are going to actually win you many games.... the re-rolls probably will.

I agree. The 'sod is the master of stupid teams, so heed his words. Skills on a Snotling are wasted, but skills on an Ogre aren't game changing (unless you roll a double). You'll want one or two Break Tackles but you'll be unlucky not to get that. Though even with the 6/6 roster you could end up with loads of skilly snots. :D Your first roster is the best IMO.

NB only true in a tourney setting. 6 Break Tackle ogres and 10 diving tackle snotlings = 1 big pain in the neck.

Actually, 5 big pains in the neck, 5 little pains in the ankle, one guy scratching his footballs, and five guys on break.
