What would you pick for...
...a 75 SPP hobgoblin that has Sure Hands, Block, Kick-Off Return and Fend?
Rest of the hobboes go this way:
+1ST, Block, Fend;
Dirty Player;
Block, +1AG, Sure Hands;
Dodge, Block, Fend.
Do I go with Kick? What about double roll? Pass? Dodge? Side Step?
Fred

I would ask in the tactics section instead of the skills rules one ;]
Do you field him when you are kicking, if not then kick is a waste.
Could you do with some Wrestle? Bit more mobile Tackle? Pro is perhaps the best choice. Dauntless is the only other one to consider.
Doubles I'd get Dodge probably

I would suggest Pro on a normal roll, Dodge on a doubles, +MA on a 6/4, +AG on an 11, +ST on a 12. Pro helps with catching the ball on Kick-off (combines with KoR), and with GFIs, Passing, Dodging etc.
Tackle is another worthy choice.

If he doesn't roll a 'double' or a stat increase, I would probably replace him with a rookie. He's very costly and you have plenty other Hobs to perform ball handling duties.

Replacing him is not an option. We play in a perpetual league and we aim fot high TV teams with developped players.

Pro, unless he doubles. That's what you get for the G-access guy who has everything. It works on dodges, blocks, QPs, everything but pickups.
Whatever you do, don't take Kick and Kickoff Return on the same player! Even if you just take one specialist going each way, this guy's your one offensive specialist.
