Slann vs Dark Elves

I am playing my opening game in season 2 of a carry-over league tonight, pitting my Slann against a Dark Elf team.
I will have 220k worth of inducements to work with.
There are a few ways I could go:
1) Lottabottol. I know most people do not like this star player. I like him because he is thematic for my team and because I would not mind having a move 8 player with shadow and diving tackle to terrorize my opponent. Gives me my 12th player. Downside: He could be targeted early and knocked off the pitch comparatively easily.
2) Mercenary Kroxigor with Guard: the main reason I am considering this player is that it would allow me to overpower the line. I have a S4 linefrog and another linefrog with Wrestle. No block on the team at all. The three linefrogs that had gotten upgrades got +AG, +Str and Wrestle. The Mercenary Krox would allow me to have a line of S4-Wrestle, S5 Prehensile Tail, S5. Since my opponent has a lot of block, I feel like this is something that could tip the odds in my favor by making it so that I don't have to work so hard to get 2D blocks. Gives me my 12th player. Downside: Don't really see one.
3) I could take a wizard and a Bloodweiser Babe, leaving 30K on the table. Fun, but maybe not very useful versus an elf team.
4) I could take a Wandering Apothecary and 2 BWBs, or 2 Wandering Apoths. Both leave 30K on the table. Safe, but not as fun.
Tactically I have thought quite a bit about it. Stay off his block pieces and try to take out the ones that do not have it with 2D blocks. Target the AV7 models first. He'll have 4 of them available for the game, none of which have block, but 2 of which have dodge.
I have a guard catcher, and will try to get it in position to create a 2D blitz opportunity on a ball carrier.
My biggest worry is getting too many players knocked out, which is why I am looking mainly at using the Krox and the strong line option.
Any help is appreciated.
