Borak or Grashnak for a nurgle team?

That's the question, i have inducements to have one of both in my next match. Who would be more useful for a nurgle team? Right now i tend more to Borak, because of AV 9...

on a side note, my next game will be vs. a really strong norse team. Right now i have a block, break tacke beast and a MB nurgle warrior, and a frenzy pestigor.

Probably it's explained in the massive nurgle post, but i don't feel interested in reading 52 pages.... :blue:

Actually inducements are discussed in the last three pages of that post. I favour Grashnak, mainly cause I've never lost a match I induced him in.

Grashnak for me too - he is pretty formidable.

Another vote for Grashnak. If you don't let him get isolated, then his AV won't come into play too often due to ST6. The norse can hit him with the ice troll (which has Claws anyway) or a runner. But ST3 vs ST6 on a Dauntless block is a big risk. And a runner won't have MB and/or Piling On.

Grashnak as you face norse, 3die frenzy-block is better than 2die block-block. Vs a non-universal Block team I always favour borak though.

The Mighty Mino will be, then.

Thanks so much for all your answers

Can nurgle have a halfing hot pot. Take up to 3 rerolls away from them each half and give them to you. Nice!

You do realize that you have to roll to get those RRs? It's not automatically 3 rerolls, it's 4+ for each so on average it's one reroll on one half and 2 rerolls on the other half. Sometimes you get all 3, sometimes you get none. It's way too random to be worth 300k.

That depends who you're facing. If it's a re-roll dependent team (Slann, for example), the Chef may be a good pick.

All the best.

The Chef is probably not a wise pick for Nurgle against Norse, especially now that they've developed and the ulfwerener likely have block. Much more useful to get Grashnak than gamble on a few re-rolls.

Blackhoof should be pretty awesome against Norse with their ST3 AV7. They either need to mark him and give free hits or face 3 dice blitzes. Lose-lose for them, they probably won't be able to field a full 11 for the second half either way :orc:
