Hi,

Has anyone ever considered using Barik and Boomer as a combo?

Handing off (if possible) the bomb from Boomer to Barik, then Hailmary the bomb to anywhere on the pitch.

Barik is an excellent Bomb thrower due to Hail Mary and Pass skill.

Unfortunately you cant handoff the bomb. You could pass to barik, so it'd be a 3+ then, 3+ catch.. both with loner already a 55% chance of failing one of those dierolls to hit one of your own guys. Other than that I think it works in pratice perfectly..

Every team that has a thrower can get hail mary and then pass the bomb to that player and then hail mary da bombz!!!

or if you are playing gobbos, get a gobbo with doubles (hail mary) and either diving catch or +1 AG and pass the bomb to your HMP DC gobbo and lob the sucker, Actually the D.Catch would be best for this because they could then even try to catch the bomb if it was inaccurate....

Or maybe just roll a double on the bombardier in a goblin team and you are set !

The only sane way to build for that combo, I'm afraid.

I had a HMP bomber on my last league gobbo team. Funny enought it was the one most reliant thing on that team. On defense you bomb the opponents ballcarrier every turn, eventually it hits and most of the time i was hoping for a tacklezone 4+ hit. Its another bag of tricks to add to the gobs. The bastich did use up alot of my bribes tho. Defense as above and on offense he was the ballcarrier waiting to lob it, add in the looney bodyguard that was with him

As for sane, i kinda like the idea of a doubles gobbo taking HMP. Add diving catch and/or catch to him and off ya go. May give this a try online. Not related but I just made a Nurgle coach concede to my Gobs online today, dice were pretty nice to me, no pows on his hits. Looney got 2 SPP's for a skull block against he did that resulted in a death (must have been a rotter).

Well, 3+ and then 3+ is not worth it. But if Boomer had AG 3 instead of 2, it would have been 2+ (with Accurate) then 3+, which I would have actually considered, for just 120k in total!
