Need help on choosing team for a league

Here is the thing. We are about to start a small (number of players) but long league in our club. We are all quite new to the game. The others have about 10+ games under their belts but I´ve just played 2 matches. Both have been 2-1 victories with humans against Wood Elves and Orcs. I kinda like the playstyle of humans, even if they are just the "average at everything team", but I´m not sure if I should use them for the league.
The other teams are Chaos, Dwarves and 2 Orcs. All of them bashy teams. I´m not worried about winning or losing the first games, since I think I can use my better ball handing skills and movement to score some touchdowns, but I´m extremely worried about what will happen after some games. Being all of them bashy teams I suspect my team will go downhill pretty fast. No matter how many games I win, my players will begin to get injured and/or die sooner or later. Each match will be a struggle to survive, and I won´t have a single game to lick my wounds.
In yesterdays game against orcs, I passed his armour twice and he passed mine like ten times. I was soooo lucky and none of my players were injured, but I don´t think I could be this lucky game after game, bash team after bash teams. That´s why I´m not sure wich team to use for the league.
Here are my options. The three teams I have:
-
Chaos.
Pros: A long league will favour me instead of crippling me. Making goat inpersonations is fun.
Cons: A league with 2 orcs, 1 dwar and 2 chaos? Seems boring to me.
-
Nurgle.
Pros: I had a lot of fun converting rotters and disrupting the other team seems like fun.
Cons: I´m not sure if I will be able to play it correctly in defense, being the rookie I am. I´m absolutely sure I will have a really hard time to score even that single TD I need.
-
Humans.
Pros: I like naming them with funny german names. Running/passing game is quite fun to play, in my short experiencce.
Cons: No matter if I win or lose, I will be smashed game after game by those bashing teams. Doesn´t seem like fun anymore.
And here is my question.
Wich team do you think I should play with?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post and any mistakes in my english grammar or spelling. It´s my third language, so don´t be hard on me.

I would go for Nurgle. I did. It will give you lot's of pleasure and you will be able to develop a team against the bashy teams. Mutation acces for claw.
Go for two Block, Guard warriors.
And two Mighty Blow, Claw, Pilling on warriors. That will stop the bashy teams.
Have fun

Thanks for the advice and forgive me if I´m wrong but, shouldn´t I use Chaos if I want to skill the warriors like that? Shouldn´t I skill the nurgle warriors for a disruptive defense type of play?

I like a challenge, personally I would choose Humans, you already have experience of playing with them and just think all you can learn from evading the bashy teams, that experience will help with any future team you choose.

Hate to throw a wrench in here, but have you considered playing a fast/agile team? If you go Chaos or Nurgle, your league will be 100% bash. If you picked something such as, say, wood elves, you could outrun them while they all get in an arms race to outbash each other. At least you can dodge away with them, thus avoiding some damage. I share your concern that your humans will just get pounded after an extended stay in Bashcity.
If you are dead set on one of those three teams, I would pick Nurgle just to add some variety to your league. You would probably develop them as a Stymie team with a dash of bash flavor... you wont be disrupting too many passing plays in that league!

Thanks Penwaaagh. I´m not so sure if two games can be considered as much experience.

It´s not that I´m not ready for a challenge, but first of all I would like to have fun. Winning or losing doesn´t worry me much. I just want to avoid being repeatedly punched in the face.
Thanks, Lunchab1es, it´s a good advice, since I think that kind of play suits me, but unfortunately those are the only teams I have and the league starts next friday. No time (or money) for a new team. I would like to try skaven someday though.
Should I go with a smelly version of Chaos? I think you are right when you say there´s no much play I can disrupt. But having an almost-chaos team instead of chaos, seems odd. However, I agree on the variety issue.
Right now I think I´ll choose Chaos or Nurgle, being the last ones above in the list for the moment.

I would personally recommend Dark Elves, they have average armour, ag4 on all players and they can do some selective bashing as well.
Why?
1. Nurgle would only disrupt passing plays, your league does not have active passing teams.
2. You will be able to outrun, outpass and dodge away from your opponents.
3. In such a bashy league there won't be lots of tackle (dwarves are cowards anyway).
4. You can frenzy some bone-headed orc or chaos warrior of the pitch.
5. Your armour is only 1 less than that of orcs, dwarves, warriors.

Run (squelch, slither, etc) with Nurgle, adds to the leagues variety...

Thanks for the advice, Kuosa. Dark Elves are cool, but those 3 teams are the only ones I´ve got. I think having 3 teams, being someone who has just played 2 games it´s not that bad. I wish I had them all.
Squelch? slither? I don´t think those are skill, so... I don´t understand. What do you mean?

Humans would be the most fun to play of those IMO.
Chaos of fun but it takes a while to develop.
Dwarves can be frustrating to play against teams that are both stronger and faster
Humans are more versatile and do many more fun things. They can beat bash with some block and fend and maybe some wrestle. A dirty player won't hurt either

I would suggest humans given the bashy set up of the league. You'd have the pace to run around them - just use lots of blitzers and catchers.

Thanks for the advices. I think there´s a tie between nurgle and humans at the moment. Do you think it is possible to use the humans hability to gain SPP fast (at the very begining of the league) to build a "bashy-wannabe" team by giving skills like mighty blow and pile to blitzers and block to linemans? Maybe it´s my inexperience giving me bad ideas.
I´m reading the nurgle thread right now, but with 76 pages it´s gonna take a while.

I love the Nurgle squad and find stymie-style defense very rewarding. That being said, the flavour of your league right now is heavily, heavily bash-oriented and humans, though average in many respects, are really a very quick team. You might well have a lot of success playing up the much greater mobility. As well, the other coaches will probably keep in mind the other bash teams when developing their own players, which might give your human squad an advantage, as, for instance, few coaches will take Tackle when looking to combat bashers.
So my vote right now is for humans.
Your English isn't that bad at all.

I'd go Humans.
Nurgle could go both ways ( they are the king of the killers at high TV, due to Regenerate letting them hold up far better than Chaos, who just have an apo), or a good stymie choice. There's a whole 76 page strategy talk on that in the thread above!
That said, none of those races are clearly the best bashers. There won't be much dodge floating around, or tackle. If you've got 4 blitzers and 2 catchers, you can leave most of those races in your wake. Guard on the blitzers will allow you to hold the line at least (and easily skilled guard!), and your human linemen have "mark that clawmbpo player" printed on their jerseys.
I'd play a running game with them, unless you aim to skill them for a passing game (accurate/divine catch), then it's not as effective. You will take big casualties, but you can win the games.
This team has a pretty good record in the Blackbox, which is one of the killier environments around.

Humans. Gives you more opportunities to play/try different stuff, will learn you more tactics, and probably will make you a better coach.
Nurgle is more difficult to use and to master. I think they will frustrate you a lot.
